what i got from it is exactly what i got from the interviews in a visual and more aggressive form. Believe in yourself, don't conform to society, don't be scared to make mistakes, don't adhere to wealth being about money or material things, If this happens society would be a much better place.

He basically stripped his interviews of all the fat and delivered the straight gems of that press run for 30 Mins straight. :pimp:

some people will love it, some will mock it, but IMO it's very much needed.

Not sure if this has been posted, but Scott Vener (music curator for Entourage and How to Make it In America) posted this on his tumblr about a year ago:

Kanye hasn’t changed. He just has more people listening to him.

In Jan ‘04 Dame Dash invited me 2 Sundance Film Festival for the premiere of The Woodsman. After the movie, he had a party with bunch of hollywood “peeps.” DJ AM was spinning, the place was having a great time. Dame had AM cut his set in middle so Kanye could perform. But no one knew who Kanye was then. His 1st album wasn’t coming out until Feb. In fact, I think John Legend was playing keyboard in Ye’s stage band. Through the Wire may have been out. Can’t remember. But no one in hollywood was that hip to know it. Ye got up on stage in a room that had two floors. Balcony overlooking stage. Not the best environment for music performance. He started to perform. People weren’t paying attention. He could feel it. They were talking. He was frustrated. About 3/4 of the way into the song. He stopped. "Everyone that is not listening is gonna be mad you had the opportunity to see me perform for the first time."

But it still didn’t silence the crowd. Chatter continued. He jumped off stage. Ran to the top of balcony and screamed at the top of his lungs. Demanded to be heard. To be honest he COMMANDED to be heard. Similar to his recent rants. I couldn’t believe this kid had the balls. The conviction in himself to turn these people and HE DID. People started to watch and they got into it. I knew at that moment. He was a real artist. That he cares about one thing. At all costs. HIS MUSIC.

If there is a point to this story, I guess its appreciate what artists want you to hear and don’t let expectations ruin the experience.

Okay, just checking champ.  Wasn't sure if your last post was meant for NT or lipstick alley.  I'm guessing and more importantly hoping the latter.  Be that as it may, I"m actually going to give you a pass for the time being on this oversight on your end and let bygones be bygones.  Glad everything is on the up and up.  Just don't let it happen again

I would fall out with Jay too. Straight disrespectful. I know I'mma catch heat for this statement but forget about the fact that Ye' saved Jay's career. Forget about the fact that Ye' single-handedly kept Jay relevant for the past few years. From the outside looking in it seems as if their relationship was merely based on what Ye' could do for Jay. I'd even venture so far as to say Jay owes a majority of the latter half of his career to Kanye. At the end of the day, in my eyes if you're a real one you show up to your mans wedding. Media circus or not some things are greater than you & your personal wills and won'ts.

One another note it's funny to see grown men basically camp out in this joint ready to let the hate flow on whatever move Ye' makes next. When you arrive at the point in your life where you're eager to keep up with the next mans life specifically to find reasons to dislike him, it's time to reevaluate things and make some changes.

U guys still might be jumping the gun on the whole beef thing. Skipping my mans name in a song aint exactly beef.

Jay was definitely petty for skipping the wedding. Dude made a whole song dedicated to dude. Has given him classic beats and material and u can't show up just to say congrats.

I also wonder how things would be different if Ye would have stuck it out with Dame. Outside of Dame's antics we do know that he actually rides for his artist. I have no doubt he would've made the wedding.

I tried to tell them Yeezus extended Hova's career but it's blasphemy to say that around here
