I listened to 45 mins of the hour interview. It just seems like he is way too focused on Fashion. I can't knock his passion. But he said it himself "how are you going to save the world when you are so concerned about fashion" then proceeds to try to explain why fashion saves the world..... :smh: :smh:

But i guess it is his world. Like on a daily basis fashion is his life and he feels like a new slave....but i think he is losing touch with the regular listener at that point. But i think he realizes that. Hence knowing yeezus wouldn't be MBDTF.

This makes me look at Lupe like oh...at least you are trying in a real sense.
 
Watching this interview made me feel like writing a curse-laden reply here would almost be worth getting banned for.

I was THEE BIGGEST Kanye fan, even pre-CD. After Get Well Soon, I was having arguments in barbershops almost to the point of tears trying to convince people he would be the next big star from the Roc.

Now? C'mon...this clip is nonsense. All of it.

If you buy into anything he says, I'm just going to assume Tumblr raised you.

i'd like to make it to a point in my life where i've worked so hard, and acheived so much, and i'm bugging out trying to figure out what else i can be the best at.

Sad to see Ye transform. It's not so much his ranting that bothers me, but more so how much he contradicts himself throughout these random tangents. I truly feel the man has lost himself. Between the passing of his mother and that whole Taylor swift debacle, I think he's struggling to re find his identity. It's fine to have passion, but what's passion without direct focus?
 
I don't like this alter ego Kanye has. I'm starting to lose respect for this dude everytime I see an interview like this. People who are defending this **** are clowns. There's a difference between sounding professional, compared to him changing the sound of his voice to sound like someone he's not.

He's all over the place. Slightly crazy and very delusional.

This is what happens when critics praise you as a genius and claim that you made a "PERFECT" album with MBDTF. It get's to your head. Imagine your peers all telling you that you are a genius and that your work was perfection. You would go insane. Like, what is there left in life to accomplish? How do you manage your ego? What do you when you proved the critics wrong already and you have nothing more to prove? 

His interview has flashes of John Lennon after he broke up with the Beatles. He reached that point in his career where his career reached levels that are now starting to hurt him.

He knows it, acknowledges it and carries the chip on his shoulder that comes with making about 10 years of groundbreaking music that you either love or hate but you've HEARD and have formed an opinion on. It's cocky whatever, but he's worked hard to get to this point. Let him cook

no hes not he just wants to be and has for a while.  i dont even mind the cocky antics but he has wanted this spotlight for some time now.  why u think hes with kim k?
