I agree to a certain extent with y'all. His style and lyrical content has changed but I still think the skill is very much so there.
Yeezus, although it was not well accepted it still had some great songs and lyrics that can be well respected

The thing is, if his production was still great, the emptiness or change in his rhymes could be passed over. But all he's been doing for a little over half a decade is making lengthy overproduced beats, almost like he's distracting his fans from his lyrics. Kanye stans will tell you though that he "doesn't make hip hop, daddy makes stadium music now". Lol.
Kanye said it himself, he can not make another college dropout, he has evolved as an artist... When I start wanting the 'old kanye' back, I just turn on CD or LR and hit play... new **** aint better than that anyway ..
When Jay said "****** want my old ****, buy my old albums", I actually thought he had a great point, and bought into that...until several vets started creating their vintage sound today with it sounding very good. DJ Paul and Juicy J did a very good job of that in the past 4 years. Eminem showed some of the " old Em" on Hell: The Sequel and somewhat on MMLP2, and has never slipped on freestyles. So now all Jay and Kanye's comments mean to me now is that they're incapable of putting a fresh spin on the "old them", which is OK, as long as they can admit that instead of tricking their fans with " evolution" . The only thing Kanye evolved is how to make ugly clothes.

I mean literally before yeezus Kanye could do no wrong in my eyes....straight up goat catalogue in my opinion but that's just me.
Yeezus is what really just ruined everything
absolute trash. So hopefully he bounces back but it's not looking good. But I have faith. Travis Scott album was VERY well produced so I can't see YE putting out another trash album production wise

Only One & FourFiveSeconds are nice songs imo.
All Day was fire when it was new.
His "make up" of Say You Will was good too.
What we heard from Wolves and Fade was also nice.
I don't see him fell off.
It's just completely different from his old stuff.
If I want to listen to his old stuff, I do it. I still enjoy College Dropout and the rest of his albums, like they released a couple months ago.
Clearly "Facts" was trash. But that's no "real" song imo.
Also there are reasons to be skeptical about Yeezus. Personally I love Blood on the Leaves, New Slaves and Black Skinhead. A couple other songs of the album were pretty close.

On Sight was straight garbage. 
I wouldn't say GOAT but his catalogue was pretty close to spotless before that album.

I can never say spotless because 808's is still super trash to me. I know it gets mad love on here, but that album is really intolerable and beyond overrated.On Sight was straight garbage.

This was the last new song he put out between GOOD Music - Cruel Summer and Yeezus. While I do rock with Yeezus, I don't think we're getting this sound again.
