OFFICIAL Ye fka "kanYe West" x G.O.O.D. Music Thread - ¥$ (AKA YE X TY DOLLA SIGN) - VULTURES (NOW AVAILABLE WOWWWW)

Kanye has been the best performer I've seen live hands down, easily. Glow In The Dark and Yeezus tour were absolutely insane.
Notice that I said that I'VE SEEN and did not even say best performer ever. Dudes are so quick to hate on Kanye which I guess is understandable, but why come to a thread DEDICATED TO HIM just to hate? You seem lame as hell.

Dude mentioned Stevie Wonder, Elton John, and Frank Sinatra

I love most of the artists dude listed too, but it's not 1975 my *****. You really upset that a 22 year old male says that Kanye West is the best performer I've seen live in my generation? It's not that crazy of a statement.

I've been to countless shows and big name concerts, but no one has the crowd connection in an arena like Ye does from any other concert I've been to.

Seeing Kanye perform Yeezus (the album) live was too dope.
I don't see any other rapper touching kanye, With all the theatrics and themes of his live shows.

Rock bands, well some, truly bring it live.
RATM was one of them and I'd rank them up there as one of the best performances I've ever seen

Roots are still the best live show I've seen by a "rap artist". Original material, crazy covers, Black Thought freestyling etc.

Not a rock band but same idea. That's what I look for in a great performer/performance.

Not theatric bells + whistles. Prince was the best non "rap artist".

Seen too many ill shows. Some artists you wouldn't expect are pretty ill live. Linkin Park, Bruno Mars. It's actually a very long list. Some might prefer Chris Brown or a Timberlake with all the dancing n ****.

Which is what makes this debate so idiotic. The idea that there can only be ONE......GREATEST performer in a genre, generation or since the dawn of time.

Last show of his I went to was GITD. That was a great show.

Yeezus I didn't even bother with because I thought the album was a chaotic mess for the most part. So I didn't want to subject myself to that live.

Again, I don't go to live music shows for theatrics if I'm not ******* with the music.

My wife went to the NY Yeezus show to see Tribe Called Quests last show (which I don't even think sold out).

She said it was OK. Said the "rant" definitely detracted from the show.

Yeah you def have to be into the music to fully appreciate live performances. But in general I just enjoy live music, even when I don't know the songs or really eff with the bands. We all have different tastes/experiences.

I just had a sad thought... What if he stopped performing Wolves because it got cut when he redid the album again? [emoji]128557[/emoji][emoji]128557[/emoji][emoji]128557[/emoji]

My wife is a doctor. Not an irrational Kanye groupie.

I would wager she takes more W's on a daily basis than you can imagine.

You're clearly more misguided than I could ever imagine if you don't think A Tribe Called Quest's last live performance is a big deal.

I got free tickets from the label 2 days before the show and was told it wasn't sold out.

The fact that my post made you catch feelings is so sad.......

Calm down

If you read that and didn't think I was calm (and quite calculated), you were mistaken.

Forrealz. I don't think dudes post was as serious as your response.

Forrealz?

This is quite possibly the most unintentionally comedic thread on this board.

I just assume he doesn't perform it because it's not the same without Sia and Vic there.
