Schea Cotton?! Damn. I haven't heard that name in years. Anyone living in So. Cal knew who this dude was.

Can't wait to see the finished product. I remember watching Mater Dei vs. Crenshaw on TV. That 'Shaw squad was loaded, but Schea was far and away the best player on that court.

Cake, did you ever watch/see Ronnie Fields play?  Him and Schea were the names I always heard back then.

def want to watch this. easily the most impressive freshman ive ever seen. forgot what game it was but first time i ever saw him play early in his freshman year he drove baseline on a guy and then dunked it on him and after i was just thinking how the hell is this guy just a freshman. i thought for sure he was going to make it in the league esp since his older brother did. him and baron on that ucla team would have been pretty sick.

They need to just start a "Fallen Ballers Series." Deangelo Collins, Lenny Cooke, etc. All of these guys need one of these.

Heard of Ronnie Fields but never this guy. Still would like to see this whenever it drops

The doc will premier in November... I asked my homie who is apart of the production team

Yep. There were a lot of good HS players in So Cal in those days  -  Baron, Tayshaun Prince, Toby Bailey, the O'Bannon brothers, etc. - but Cotton definitely got the most hype as far as I remember.  I'll check the documentary out, as it will definitely bring back some memories for me.

Maaannnn, ima 92 baby and know all about this cat aha.

Whenever you go up to crenshaw and ask about that crenshaw and mater dei game, they'll tell you how good he was. He had it all. To be fair, he was always better than his grade level. He was the truth.
