Do these look deadstock to you guys?  The ones listed on eBay listed as deadstock do not have any creases.  Thanks.

Thanks for the feedback, but it was more the principle of the matter, if they were not listed "deadstock"  and had better detailed pictures I'd feel better about my purchase.  The pics sent didn't show the creases.  If it were me selling them I would show the creases.  To be honest (I will post better pics), the creases are deep.  The seller I bought them from seems to be a legit person, but looking at the eBay listings the ones listed as pre-owned are in some cases better shape.

base on the pictures provided up there, I would say no.

btw I have a deadstock pair that look nothing like that.

Jewelzm3, thanks for reply, I wanted to make sure I wasn't trippin!

  What size are yours?

Those are not dead stock. They look like they've been tried on. The person who tried them on might have took a test jump in them or done some hard walking to see how they feel and that's how that crease came about.

The Orcas crease very easily, so if you plan on wearing them this was going to happen either way, but if the seller listed them as dead stock than I can understand your frustration.

Xsalvioutlawx, good points and thank you for them. Although true for some reason when you said "test jump" that had me crackin up! Lol!  Yeah I hear ya, I'm trying to decide whether to send them back or just ask for a partial refund.  Like I said dude seemed legit and as a seller as well I know how hard it can be.  On he flip side deadstock means deadstock.  I started to tell myself that it creased because of the straps and sitting over the years, but then I was like heck naw, at least not this bad!  Even on my listing, I say if they have been tried on and I do not list my shoes deadstock.  Ya know!  Yes, the fact I am hard judge on even the shoes I sell, I was real frustrated about them not being deadstock although listed as such.

reminds me I need to grab a pair of orcas

but I remember kobe 2s creased really easy

I gave my Orca's away to a friend (who loves them right now in his league that he plays in)...and they creased the first time I wore them and bent my foot...
one of my favorite kobe's of all time right there.....didn't even know they still had some available...LOL

^ Giving some of your favorite shoes to your friend, you're a good guy D. I probably wouldn't lend mine to my brother, lol

^^hahah....thanks for the kind word my man.
I think I'll send him a bill now that you mention it.... =)

Can't say if they are absolutely ds, but they definitely could be. I hardly ever wear mine and as they sit in storage the creases get very deep and set in. BUT, I tend to think it is because the leather is of a softer but thicker, higher quality leather. It's like a comfortable dress-shoe leather. In other words, I think it's entirely possible for them to be ds and have some creases.

They're 8.5, I personally think that's straight up false advertisment on the seller part.

If you look at the front crease, that's clearly a crease from wear. Whether it be just tried on and a few steps taken, doesn't matter. Someones foot has been in them and someone has walked in them.
You don't get a crease in that position out of no where.

Now that I look more closely, you're probably right.  The truth is, one wear (even a couple steps) of a brand new pair would do the same thing, so in theory it shouldn't really matter if they were worn once.  HOWEVER, I would feel the same way about the principle of the matter; there is something about getting "virgin" shoes that is ruined even if someone else has walked in them, especially if that person lied about it.

McGregor triangle, thats funny you said, because I used the same "virgin" analogy when I explained it to some people, (even the women agreed with me), I told them I was going to get a partial refund and I was going to keep them, they said "good keep them because these shoes are mad sexy"!  Lol!  Yeah man, its like meeting a superbad chick and she tells you that she is a virgin, you find out she's not, its no so bad that she not, but the persecption she gave was false!  Lol!  Anyhow me and the seller worked it out, everything is all good now.

i wouldn't mind the crease if i got them at a good price. anything around 130, I'm good.
Kobeoverbron, the seller and I worked it out, and that is why I kept them!  Like I said before though it was all about the principle of the matter, what I received was not what was listed, however don't get me wrong they are a very nice pair.

UptownsDotNetStacky, they crease easily, but most a shoe you want to have in your collection, specially if you are a Kobe fan.
