I'd rather have Tim Tebow as my quarterback. When you take the sum components of what they do on the football field, you don't get much difference. You can sit here and be blinded by a few good games and a few passes that Steve Smith freaked on, but snap back to reality for a second.

Tim Tebow is 2-2 as a starter for the Denver Broncos. Kyle Orton couldn't sniff a .500 record with the same team. Cam Newton, with a MUCH better offense I might add, won't sniff a .500 record this year. If Tebow hits Decker on that bomb for a TD every naysayer would be singing a different tune. He was 1 yard on a deep ball away from making the doubters think twice.

You are entitled to your opinion and I am entitled to mine. However, please tell me what basis in fact your opinion is derived from.

2 wins 5 losses

The Jaguars and the ******** are the teams he has beaten

8 TDs 9 INTs

60.3 completion %

Now, you mean to tell me that you are basing your opinion on two 400 yard games against garbage defenses where he was down the entire time? Where Steve Smith went absolutely nuts? Where there were at least 3 occasions when he had to throw a ball to his receiver without a defender within 20 yards? And one run where he juked out some garbage safety from the ********? Lettuce be reality.

Are you going to ever mention the rushing yards he gets, or the rushing TD's for that matter? 

Will you bring up him taking this team that was 1-15 last year, and having them be competitive in each game so far this year?  

Are we supposed to expect this kid to come in and suddenly be 4-2 like it's nothing?  He alone was gonna fix 1-15? 

 

Let the kid play a little.  If this is just scratching the surface, what is he gon do when he actually has some experience?  What's he gonna do when the talent around him builds?  These are the things you should be looking at, not picking and choosing stats to make your argument look wise.
