Looks like you just dipped the entire shoe into the dye.

how did u get so much extra up the side of the shoe? im hoping the actual shoe is covered, but what did u use? a paint brush?

I try to use a big paint bush instead of a small one and yes the whole shoe was cover .

I don't know why they came out like that i follow the directions they came perfect on my other shoes tho

How did you not put masking tape around the edges of the shoe? I could see if you were dying the soles on stealths or something but these were so the opposite of what you were dying... Live and you learn I guess.
