Lol y'all are wildin. I've owned a 28, 29, and 30 in the 2013 stonewash and while 29 would be ideal (my regular APC size), I settled with a 30. The waist is like a 34" but I wear a belt. Everything else is slim, I posted pics a while back in this thread. There is no way I would fit into a 27, I could hardly pull the 28 all the way up. I'd imagine the raws are worse since they are a stiff material. But do you. I wouldn't size down 3 lol.

Not sure I follow man.  You wear 29 in other APCs?  Cus I wear a 32 in PNS and PS with some room, I wear a belt too.  I got a 31 in the stone wash and they've got to be at least 2 sizes big.  I find it hard to believe that you'd actually size up on the Kanye joints.  Was it due to the taper and leg opening?
 
I didn't size up. 29 is my APC size. 30 is my true waist. The only part on the Kanye's that is too big is the waist. I deal with the big waist. Here's a size 30 for reference.

If you have the budget acne's are good just bought some stone wash ish apc's that I got tapered a little bit
 
hand washed my nudies (or a soak depending on how you look at it) they were getting gross. at first i was kind of dissapointed when i looked at them in the in house lighting. Wore them out today and they actually came out pretty. good. wore them for about 7 months. Going to go at least another 6 if not a lil longer before the next and I think they wil be perfect next time around.
 
Got some Nudie grim tims in black tapered to the same specifics as my 511s. Perfecto! The perfect black jeans for less than a hunnid. I'ma hold off on Acne's
 
^^^^^How long did it take you to get it that way? I have some Naked and Famous jeans that hardly show wear and I have been wearing them for sometime now even if it is only on the weekends.
 
My PNS look the same with no washes but more honeycombs and fades. Wore mine for like 8 months straight then chilled out. Gonna wash soon. I'll post pics when I'm home.

Anyone have any recommendations for higher end denim ? Saint Laurent is the brand I'm looking at specifically.

If you're looking to stay in raw denim, I would look into Japanese denim like Momotaro, Pure blue japan, Iron Heart, The Strike Gold, list goes on... 3Sixteen is nice too

Yeah I fortunately have a job where I can dress casually most of the week, maybe one day of the week I need to dress business casual.. Been wearing my Iron Hearts for 2 months straight now but I still find myself tempted by my APC PS in my closet, APCs fit is amazing.
 
@Fongstarr if you're referring to me, about 15 mos of weekend wear. not every weekend though. fades are a little more pronounced than they look in the pics
