Lol nope just sucks getting them, blew out my APCs not too long a go and I had no free repairs so lucky youAm I nasty for that?
Pretty sure the store in SF I got them from does free repairs on crotch blowouts but I just haven't been bothered to take them in.
Just never really saw what the big deal was.

Saw some on Amazon for close to that... Not sure how reliable Amazon is for buying stuff like that.

Amazon is usually reliable, depending on the seller. New Standards only go up to size 36, correct?

Yeah. I'm a 38, last time around I got a 36, and after a few wears the waist fit fine. Problem is the legs. A little tight for my liking. Maybe more wear will help that....

About to pull the trigger on some RT Stantons, was debating between those and a a pair of 3Sixteen SL-100x...any thoughts on these?

may need to pull the trigger on some new denim. been hitting the gym hard the past year and thighs are getting a little tight. my girl calls them my cowboy pants now 
may just size up on another pair of PNS. any suggestions on a similarly tapered pair for around $200?

Few days old but I love Steady Eddies. I own two pair so far and they fit just right to me. I love what N&F does with their fabrics but the weird guys don't work with my body type. If you have any more than a flat *** to put in them, they fit weird. I haven't wore them in a while but they would fit snug on my *** then a little loose in the waist. I've been in the gym consistently since I've last worn them so it might be worse now. I feel like if I were to get weird guys again they'd have to be stretch denim. Just my experience. Both are great brands though.

I would measure for your thighs.... I heard Japan Blue doesn't have much stretch in the thighs like APC does but does have the expected waist stretch like most raw denim.

If you like black denim try the Acne "Cash" fabric. I was looking to buy some last year but was hitting the gym hard at the time and no fits would work with me. Once I lose some mass, those are def on my cop list. Probably the Max Cash.
Stantons are
I was in your position between Stantons and ST-120x and went with STs. No Ragrets.
For me, it came down to the style of the back pockets. Did not like how the Stantons back pockets angled down as they got lower. That's all i would look at when i saw them.
Sidenote: 3Sixteen jeans are a great introductory high-end denim. The quality of their product is top notch and they don't get nearly as much credit that they're due. ill post some fade pics of my jawns when i get some time.

I'm hoping my Nordstrom rack got those cheap APCs... Wanna grab some PNS for the low otherwise F APC, way overpriced.
