Is there any LIGHT wash denim you guys recommend out there? I've been checking out some of the brands posted in here but it doesn't look like there's much other than indigo washes are readily available in most cases. Really looking for some light blue denim I can wear everyday.

Also where online or what retail stores have good selection of Nudies?

Thanks.

Ksubi's for washed denim
Qualmes put me onto those..

I believe nordstrom or Barney's will have a good selection of nudies. I have also seen them pop up at Marshall's but ofcourse you won't have a big selection..

Thanks a ot Lstylez33 and Joepac12

I'm really really feeling these Ksubi Regulators but international shipping from Australia + tax + customs is probably gonna hit for around $350. Are Ksubi jeans that nice?

I'd rather spend less than $200 so I'm looking into Nudies and a couple of pairs on J. Crew instead.

How much should I size up in Nudies or Ksubis? I don't like the tight fit but I have a tiny waste with big muscular thighs and calves and I usually can't even fit my calves inside a pair of slim fitting jeans in my waist size (33). It doesn't help that I also have tiny ankles and like a tapered leg opening.

I'm thinking of getting a 34 or maybe even all the way up to a 36 and getting some alterations done?

Any thoughts or advice? Thanks again.

hello thread.  I am considering ordering a pair of N&F skinny guy elaphant 3 jeans (as well as skinny guy selvage in general) and have a question regarding the rise on these.  Levis 511 have too low of a rise for me and I don't wear them.  Levis 510 in general, Nudie Grim Tim and Thin Fin selvages have rises that fit me perfectly.  Any help would be much appreciated!

My girlfriend is an idiot and put my APCs through the wash and dryer last night. There was a belt on them too which is also ruined SMH.

I've had them for two years and have only hand washed them once this summer.

Now they look like this...

I welcome fading but there are these lines and wrinkles all over them now especially at the bottom.

Anything I can do to get the wrinkles out? Iron them a little? Just keep wearing them? I'm so bummed out right now

They straight up look like some Wranglers.

On a related note, my girlfriend doesn't know how to do laundry for nothing as well. Straight dried all my t-shirts in the dryer once when I always hang dry. Now they all became smediums.

Hennessy - did you beat her?

hahaha nah but umm id probably tyr ironing them man that may work with the wrinkles.. but turn them inside out when you do

But, she's lucky that she left my house while I was still in bed because if she was home when I made this discovery I would've been screaming at her. She knows she messed up and she apologized but there's no excuse for this. She put them in the washer WITH the belt still on them. Didn't even notice the belt was still on when she put them in the dryer too. She knows not to wash these jeans too. SOOO careless. I've had them for just as long as I've been dating her so she knows the deal.

I just can't tell you guys how bummed I am. This isn't the first time this has happened to me. My mom washed my first pair within a couple months when I was home visiting from school. She didn't know any better. But this pair...2 YEARS, $200, and my favorite article of clothing ruined man. I can't even wear jeans that much any more because of work so it's going to take me so much longer to break a new pair in as good as these were. I was JUST about to get them altered too and they would be exactly how I wanted them. Then this **** happened.

Before first wash this summer...

We had plans but I told her I don't want to see her tonight.

yea i know dude i was JK about beating her :smh:

this happened to me before too, so i know the feels :frown:

the worst part is the dryer because thats what makes the wrinkles appear on them in the most random places too

petite new standards are the ones i wanna try next. my friend has a pair and I really like the fit :smokin

itll be alright though man dont stress it too much.. its always fun to start on a new pair :\

so the petit new standards are just new standards with a slight taper from the knee down?

im looking at the fit pics from online sites but those are usually too boxy and new. Does anyone own a pair at least two weeks old from wear?

I've come to grips with my loss. My girl is buying me a new pair of petit standards. Everyone please spill a little beer or liquor on your unwashed APCs for our comrades lost prematurely to the washing and drying machines.

They are both, they fit like new standards above the thighs and petite standards in the legs. Perfect for those of us with shape.
