I brought my first pair of Nudies and Joes. I usually wear Hudson so I'll give this a try.

Anybody have any feelings on Burberry Brit denim?

I definitely wouldn't cop online if possible. Go into a shop and try on a few pairs & it will make the selection 100 times easier & you will like your jeans more. Comparing brands/fits if you don't have another pair you like and know the measurements of can be really difficult. Look online for info about shrinkage or sizing down, but you definitely want to try on the jeans.

Just in my personal opinion: Spend some more dough or look for a deal on something other than Unbrandeds. Some people love them but personally I thought they were relatively uncomfortable and had tiny pockets compared to some of my other raws. APC, Unbranded & N&F all sell mostly Sanforized jeans which will be much easier for you on your first pair because you won't have to pre-soak them to get all the shrinkage out.

how often do you guys buy a new pair and how many are in your rotation? me myself i have 2 in my constant rotation and the third i only wear on cold days since they are 22oz. i usually buy a new pair every yeah to year and a half.

Naked and Famous makes heavy denim? I went to a store in SF that had almost every damn color and most were light as a feather compared to Iron Heart and Samurai. Perhaps I didn't see the heavy stuff.

They actually made a 32oz pair that stands up by itself :lol:

I saw them in a store, they were SO thick. Couldn't even imagine, they seemed like a prop item. Cost like $500 though, so pretty sure they were serious :lol:

keep naming lol. man it's been a while since I looked at raw denim. always like samurai, nobody carried them in the states when I was into em, I don't buy jeans without trying em on first tho and I'm sure nobody in Chicago carries em lol.

I saw some heavy naked and famous in Barney's once but they were matte black, didn't see any raw indigo

well I found some you were talking about, still don't see any from naked and famous, i know they made that one special edition 32 oz pair but those were a limited thing

i got those from nordstrom rack for $69. Blueowl also offers free chain stitching on full priced jeans.

Whats the verdict on Raws in the summer? Depending on the weight of the denim determines whether or not they'd be suitable for the heat?

I wear my APC's in the summer but I'd definitely prefer something lighter
