Please keep in mind that riding a bike often with them on would likely weaken the crotch area of the denim significantly.

It's likely not the BEST way, but it worked pretty well. I never really thought about it until after I did it, I just happened to ride a bike while I was wearing them.
yeaup, did this a couple of times but the knee area stretches giving me that knee pad look at the end of the day  . But i've lost some weight so now my legs got some room in my now-stretched denim

Use a steamer to get rid of knee bags
my apc's are holding up better than my nudies have.  i had a tear where the back pocket is stitched on before 3 months of wear,  crotch blow out at 4 months.

Seems like APC quality is hit or miss. Worn mine for 6 months now with 0 tears, no loose stitches anywhere either

For the people whose jeans ripped in the crotch, did you size down in your jeans? I have a few pairs of jeans that fit snug but the crotches have never ripped.

i think the reason crotches get holes (haha,

) is because of the excess denim rubs together.  i would imagine less baggy jeans may wear slower than more baggy?  not 100% on this though.

It's the other way around. I have a 10 year old pair of rescues that are fine in the crotch. The *** has holes from my wallet and just wear but the crotch is good. That reminds me I should take them in to get them slimmed up and keep wearing them.

A lot of denim heads are all about the fades their jeans get so they size down one or two.

Crotch rips are definitely more likely for people that do this and especially those that commute on bikes to work etc... If your jeans have some breathing room and you wear them casually most of the time, good quality should hold up for a long time.

Ive been wearing my apcs for about 4 months now but im sitting for the majority of the day so i feel liek that plays a big role... especially when your legs are crossed over etc it stretches the crotch area out

Just a heads up. Check your Nordstrom rack. They hand PRPS demons, ramblers and barracudas on clearance for $75

I rock with Hudson jeans, Joes Jeans, All Saints and that is it... most comfortable jeans EVER
Im surprised All Saints hasnt made a biker jean.

Anyone know any brands besides Rogue and Denim and Supply that have biker jeans? And no...not dropping a Ferrari monthly payment for some Balmains.

That crap people talk about apc denim stretching fast is a damn lie, good thing I didn't down size on the petite standards. Been wearing off and on for maybe a week in total now since they ain't my main denim. But even though I never had jeans stay tight like this for this amount of time.

Overall I had them for a month but again indigo not a color I favor so my black denims get more run than them.

They do stretch, but mostly in the waist..

How do Zara jeans fit? Never tried any of their stuff on

If you like the super skinny look, they're pretty good. They're overpriced however, I'd only buy them on sale. Quality isn't so great for the retail price.
