Low straight would be your best bet. I don't know how big your legs are
Yep ,I'm 6'2 300 nowadays and the low straights fit me like slims because my legs have gotten bigger as my weight increased

Can anyone tell me if Big Johns are some good denim? Went to some small shop in SF and almost pulled the trigger on some but they didn't have my size las minute. The seller sold me on them and they just fit nice but never really heard about them.

New to this thread. Looking to get some apc denim, either petite new standards or petite standards. I'm waist size 31. I've read to go 2 sizes down. Is that true?

6'1, I appreciate it my man. Jeans are unaltered but they've been soaked once which shortened the inseam by about an inch from 34" to 33"

Petit standards are slim straight. Petit new standards are roomier in the thighs/waist and have a nice taper from the knee down

Unbranded is Awesome. The 14.5oz model is great. I beat the crap out of mine for a year and they still have tons of life left in them. I could care less what the patch looks like. And the reason their buttons have come off is because people are ripping brand new stiff 21oz denim from the buttons. Any denim that thick is gonna destroy buttons.
I have some MIJ Uniqlos that were cool but fell apart after a year and a bit. Im now wearing UB221 and some N&F Elephant 2's

a few weeks ago i was cleaning out my closet and found my flathead 5100xx. they came out a little over 8 years ago. i wish i would have worn them more. its probable been about 5 years since I've worn them.

Could anyone recommend a lightweight, light wash denim that is on the skinnier side and has 36"+ inseam? I know my best bets are dior or slp but I'm not looking to drop that much unless it's a good deal. Would like to stay under 400$. Thanks! I'm a 32-34 waist btw

they tried to do Anderson Cooper the same way. it is pretty nasty if you think about it, tho some people are nastier then others

I get all my denim dry cleaned if I feel they must be cleaned. Don't want to damage any of the denim and my dry cleaners always take extra care of my denim

There was an experiment conducted a few years back where a college student assessed the levels of bacteria on his raw denim he never washed and he deduced that there actually wasn't that much bacteria on them. I'll try and find the video later.
