They look legit, I own PNS and thats all it says in the tag. Not sure why yours has something under the PS.

Yeah this will be my first pair of apcs just want to make sure their legit! The stitching looks weird to me, and the the buttons look slightly off to me, unless thats how apcs dew..?

Yours looks legit to me, I just snap this pic just now and I got my apc from the A.P.C store in soho so it's safe to say yours is fine.

Naked famous black coated or power stretch forgot the name but it's one or the other
Kill city black coated, oak nyc website, basically if you don't like the first two just check oaknyc.com, they sell mostly only black jeans.
Acne have some good ones also

Acne is a great option but if he wants to stay true to the $200 budget he'll be going over. They are worth the investment, though

Acne Cash is the best jeans I've owned today without breaking the bank. Priced at $200 but they are worth every penny. I've purchased 10 pairs of them in my lifetime and will never stop.
A solid second option is Nudie - Organic Black. They are under $200 (usually see them for $125-$185) and they are great.

Just got my JE in the mail but man are they light. Perfect for summer. I got a 30 when I usually get a 31. It fit too loose in the thighs so waiting for my 29 to come in then I'll post pics.
