i went to self edge SF the other day- the stuff that they have there really is in a class by itself. I have never seen denim like that in any retail store, ever, and I would wear everything that I saw. Saving some money and going back next month...

I have one for jcrew I just keep in my pocket, lost my keys once with a carabiner so I play it safe, this one looks better tho, how much was it?

Damn, that sucks. I always feel like there is a catch with these deals now. At least my Naked and Famous jeans from Karmaloop was exactly as stated. I actually like them a lot. Hope to wear them a lot this summer. Corporate job for the loss.

I've read they fit like Levi's 514/513, is that accurate?

Maybe between a 511 and 513. More like a 513 but tighter in the thighs if you purchase correct size

It all really depends how you size them, I've seen people make them look like #NTdenim and I've seen them look skinny instead of slim,
To me they fit like 508s but with slightly slimmer thighs

I will say that the 30 fit me loose on top, waist and thighs. Also had extreme rippling/stacking. I'm usually a 30/31.
The 29 fit better but was to tight in the thigh area. Regardless I stuck with the 29.
They are very light but very comfortable.
ALSO, the fit pic will be of the jeans after a dry clean. Had a hell of a night and yacked all over them

Are you speaking in regards to raw denim? How does ACNE raw denim compare to APC in terms of comfort, durability, and how well/quickly they fade. I'm considering ACNE for my next pair of raw denim. I recently bought a pair of Ace Ups in black and the fit was perfect. I liked the fit so much that I took them to my tailor to use as a sample in making alterations on my 3 year old APC NS. I just told him make them fit as closely to the Ace Ups as possible and to work along the inseam only to preserve the selvedge line. He charged me $40 and did a great job. I hadn't worn the NS in over a year because I've been wearing slimmer pants so it's nice to have them back in the rotation. Pics of Ace Ups I gave him as a sample and the altered NS below:

So is Cash just the name ACNE gives to its raw denim? Because looking at their website it looks like the different fits they have are Thin, Ace, Max, Town, Roc, and Vega. The way they name their jeans is confusing to me though. I see they have an Ace Cash on their website. My pair is Ace Ups. I'm guessing it's the same fit but just different material.

^I saw those pics on SF the other day and they are looking REALLY good. I wish they were closer to a $200 price point though.
