Curious as well, but want something more slim like NUDIEs, but not crazy taper.

Used to be heavy in the selvedge game. Nudies, Prps, Apc, Rrl etc etc all in my closet....gained a few lbs and haven't worn those as much.
My favorite jeans now are diesel though. Like I was sleeping on them because I only saw the terrible washes and cuts Eastern European and Italian dudes rocked....
But the Thavar and Thanaz are beautiful, comfortable and stretch. Great washes too. Got a few great pairs for $80-$100 off the eBay.

Been wearing my APC's since last december (wasn't too active in them in the summer) but I've yet to see that much fading compared to my nudies.... anyone else have this problem. will post pics when i get home

So, I ended uo buying a pair of RRL slim fits. Do not regret.

My one year anniversary is coming up with my petite new standards and the fades are coming along great(washed once after 6 months)

I got those light grey NDG tailored to specs of APC Kanye since they were the same length. Got them back today they came out good.

Coming up onto f/w i really need to start on a new pair of raw/selvedge denim and commit to them. Still having trouble finding a pair thats loose in the thighs but still has a really nice taper.

Ive always considered them but cant find a place that carries them where I live(Dallas). Im always hesitant to order jeans online too bc im not sure how theyll fit. Do you have a pair though?

I know that feel, I hate buyin jeans without trying them on.
I've had my pair for about 5-6 months now and I love them. best fitting jeans I've ever had.
I tried Petit Standards and they were too tight in the thigh and the leg opening was bigger than I wanted.

I guess i had the wrong idea, I always thought PNS were slimmer in the thigh than NS.

they definitely are slimmer than new standards. I tried in an old pair of new standards not that long ago and they were huge!
PNS fit between NS and PS. the best way I can describe them is PS with more room in the thigh and the taper makes for a narrower leg opening

I suffer from the big thigh thing as well. Just find you a nice pair of jeans that fit in the thigh area and get the leg opening tapered at an alteration spot. Shouldn't be more than $20 but well worth it.

im looking at getting my first pair of Raws and I need some recommendations. I am super skinny ~5"8, 130lbs and I wear a size 3032 in normal jeans usually.
I want something that is skinny but not skin tight, but nicely fitting and and not baggy etc. I want tapered legs but still some room in the crotch/thigh areas but not baggy.
I know the "mainstream" brands like nudies and apc and N&F etc but what would you guys recommend?

Take them to the tailor. Go with a 6.5 inch leg opening, should be good for stacks and a nice taper from the knee down.

Personally I am a big fan of Momotaro.They are expensive but well worth it.Personally the build and quality blows APC, Nudie and Naked & Famous out the water. They have a realy tight weave so stretching is minimal. So I would recommend that when you buy it make sure it fits how you would like. I would also recommend the tight tapered fit that blueowl.us offers since you're so skinny. You can call up first and they are very helpful with any questions you may have about raw denim.

Thanks man, actually found both these stores doing a little research. Didnt know Nordstroms carries APC. I wonder if the concept store carries a lot of high end mens denim. Repped for the help.
