@milzirks if you're getting them tapered from the knee down(what most people do), you just need to know the size of the leg opening. If you have a pair of pants that fits the way you like just measure those. If not you can always just have the tailor measure them for you

How long does it take for the dye transfer to stop or not be as noticeable
Indigo bleeding is part of the selvedge experience. It will stop after a couple of washes. Until then, enjoy the bleeding. I sat on my friends white leather seats for an hour and lets just say he wasn't all to happy.

What would and how would I find my measurements exactly might I ask? I know with measuring tape, but what parts of my body? I usually just try things on.
http://www.blueowl.us/measurement-guide/ use this on the your best fitting pants/denim to figure out what measurements you ideally want.  if you're tapering measure out your current leg opening and compare it to what opening you want and measure that.

thinking of getting my thin finns tailored to fit like skinny lins. no ayo, I just prefer that fit rather than the thin finns straight legged look on my body.

Purchased my first denim jeans 3 days a go. Went with the APC petite standard, sized one down. I am only 5 9 and there's a bit more extra jean then I would like, should I find a tailor and get these hemmed now or later when they're more broken in?

Received my pair of NF Weird Guy [Black Grandrelle], didn't expect it to be this light (weight). Are they supposed to fade like indigo? gonna get them tailored.

Get them hemmed now.  Keep in mind once broken in, the jeans will stretch just a tad.

To my knowledge, APC comes in the standard 36" inseam?

Wait, and just cuff it out for now. If you ever plan on washing them they will shrink some in length.

I think the inseam is 34"...?

Anyways, my sz 29 apc petite standards stretched to a 33

I heard the new petite standards are more tapered tho so you might wanna return those and get the new petite standard.

I already know I am screwed with my Petite standards... I went one size down and they're already loose... Wish I went two sizes down... My thighs from soccer though are a bit tight, hope those loosen up..

fits exactly like my UB201s, feels a lot lighter though. Ordered two pairs, one from nordstrom for 50% off, and one from karmaloop for 65% off, gonna return my nordstrom pair for a refund. :smokin

I was hot that I missed my size in all the n&f denim during that 65% off karmaloop sale. Glad somebody was able to score though

I finally decided to wear the pair of Japan Blue jeans from context clothing the other day. I could immediately tell the difference in quality as compared to my Momotaro Jeans and RRL raw. Now I know why they are considered entry level denim. From now on I will stock to RRL, Momotaro for jeans.

I like the fit on the UB201s, what would that be in RRL denim? Where's the best place to buy RRL denim?

RRL are just as basic if not worse than Japan Blue

. Japan Blue are good for what they are. A lot better than APCs for sure.

From my experience since buying raw denim, do not get them hemmed. Cuff until you have your first wash. Also the stacking looks good depending on what type of shoes you have.

I had pants fitting like parachute pants after trying to get then tapered be carefull had to throw them out
