Sale they were running apparently at that location only on all sale apparel. I almost wish I'd have picked up a few more but I don't want to tie up money on jackets.

I GOT MINE FOR THAT PRICE PLUS THE EMPLOYEE PRICE AN EXTRA 30% SO I COPPED FOR $84
NOW I ALREADY OWNED THE VAPOR FLASH BUT THIS ONE HAD POCKETS...IM PROB GONNA PUT THE OLD ONE ON THE BAY CUZ NO POINT TO CARRY 2 3M JACKETS

i read in the outlet thread that a vegas outlet had it for $200 + 40% BUT I THINK THE 40% WAS OVER THE WEEKEND

Followup on durability of the material. I've been running in the original vapor flash on and off this past year and broke it out again this week now that the weather is finally getting colder again and the days are getting shorter. Unfortunately, I'm noticing some spotting on the jacket where the reflective material is missing. I'm not sure what the cause of the spotting is but it's pretty noticeable. It almost looks like there are extra vent holes when the jacket is fully reflected. I'm not sure if this is due to sweat or water but I have tossed it into the wash on a semi regular basis (pretty much after every run as it's drenched in sweat after every run thanks to total lack of breathability. Has anyone else had a similar problem? It's not going to stop me from running in the jacket mind you, just wondering if there is something i can do to minimize this happening further.

That vest would be better for running in a warmer climate. Even though the vapor flash jacket has zippered vents in the front and back, I still get soaked in sweat.

Absolutely agree. Memory serves, the material is some sort of glass/synthetic hybrid and does not lend itself to breathability at all. I can't go running in the thing without being drenched in the thing. The vest is a great move but it would have been nice to have had the entire vest be reflective. I do wonder if the back is only half reflective to allow for ventilation...

I was told by a Nike rep today that they're out everywhere in all sizes. Your best luck would probably to wait for one on eBay but don't expect it to come cheap.
Closest thing to the Vapor Flash Jacket right now is the olympic windrunner.

I recently asked Nike Find about these and there seem to be no more going around. So, eBay would be your best bet if you really want one and don't mind paying a hefty price.
