People said dont machine wash it. Just wash it with water, hang to air dry. Im sure it can last years if you take care of it

Ok, thanks for the input guys.  I think I'll hold off until the 4th iteration then.  I can't justify even paying $250 for a jacket I have to handle like a faberge egg.
 
so i have the chance to grab the all over flash for a under $200. i save 60% but it is still a huge investment for a jacket.

For those who have it, share your reviews. How does the 3m coating hold up? Should I make the purchase?

i currently own the olympic jacket, and 3m jacket scared to wash it lol

Because on this site no one is ever specifically referring to the technology they're referring to products made by Nike that happen to feature it.  

Really isn't the proper name 3M Scotchlite Reflective Sheeting or whatever, nothing wrong with shortening that to simply 3M.

i copped this jacket after it went on sale, i used a 20% code and then called into apply another 20% code. i have to say, it is like wearing harry potter's invisibility cloak, except the opposite. you're very visible. i think the quality is really good but now it'll be forever associated with that girl who fell in that video

Just wash it inside out and you'll be fine, I've washed mine a few times, just be sure to throw it in dryer immediately.

Also, not sure if anybody still wants these, but one of the Nike outlets here in Vegas has the full 3M and half shield jackets marked down a bunch.

The full 3M was $250 + 30% off, didn't check the price on the half shield because I already have it.

They had pretty much every size still available, too.

Pretty sure they do phone orders: (702) 896-7444

Edit: just checked my receipt, looks like the 30% promo expires tomorrow, so I suggest calling them today if you're interested in one.

Haha, I laughed so hard when I saw that but also felt bad. She hit her head really hard but by the interview after, she was ok. I was snug in my home when that storm hit; I personally think they were crazy out in that. But I said, hey, she looks great in that Allover Flash Jacket and he has the Shield Jacket. If your gonna go down, at least go down in style haha. That incident made me buy the Shield off NDC that day, been thinking about it for awhile and now that it is on sale, might as well

just called and ordered an xl allover flash!  thanks Hyper!  $249.99 plus an additional 30% off?  awesome deal!  maybe it'll show up on the front page of slickdeals.  lol.

just a note...no xl's left in the 1/2 flash (blk/silver)....but they do have xl in the volt/silver 1/2 flash.  and price on that was $199.99 plus the additional 30% off.

the only drawback...$12.50 shipping for fedex ground.

Got it today, good lookin out man.

Even with tax and shipping, 59% off is nice.

Just FYI to everyone looking, L is the smallest they have left in the allover.

Crazy that L is the smallest size for the all over, they had a ton of M's when I was there.

They do make a small because I was able to purchase one last month. I find that this jacket runs big so Small was perfect
 
Any owners out there that bought the 2013 version of 1/2 Shield and/or Allover Flash jackets for at least 3mos with several wash share more about their experience with them? Really concern about washing and rubbing off the reflective material overtime. Thanks in advance.
 
Anyone know where I can find the nike tech fleece pants in a medium in both colorways ? Jd sports only has only Greys,
