If they do the midsole like past, Ill cop a few pairs.
 
VI's are my all time favourites, these are a must have !!!

I actually like these. Why I passed on them before I'll never know. Lots of heat next year. Better call Chase and refinance that mortgage.

Don't understand the people that would want these to be super limited....this is what is wrong with the sneaker game these days...
 
vi's are my favourite, always have, but this is one of the vi colourways i like least.

yeap, the navy paintjob at the outerforefoot is reversed. But i like them.So for 2012 i will save money forAj x chicagos,Aj 4 fire redsaj 6 olympics

Colorblocking reversed they have similar
Contrast like the carmines now

But there's no need to bash Jordan Brand for making an effort for the first time in years.


and as far as people collecting Jordans for future value, that is pretty stupid IMO.

I agree, there's no money in the new ones anymore, the older ones sure, just not as much as they once were.
Effort? How hard is it to retro these as opposed to Black Cement IIIs, there is nothing different about these compared to any other shoe that constitutes an EFFORT being made.

 The new generation deserves to enjoy them as much as you have throughout the years.

 On another note, I guess now that theyre running out of OG colorways to retro, theyre going to retro the retro+ colorways. It will feel good seeing Laneys, Midnights, French Blues, Oreos, and Navy/Columbias on shelves again. I much prefer this era of Jordan Brand as opposed to 2007-2009 (crappy colorways such as the DTRT IIIs and Ice Blue VIIIs, paint cracking galore, and god awful clothing shoved down our throats).

Then go buy them, 400 is not even that much.....That was the plan since about 00 and Nike took notice of heads through sites like NT (tried to produce more heads by making stuff limited, but this led to the naive consumer (Nike's dream come true) who wouldn't mind quality declination (04)/ retro after retro of the same old stuff/ would be susceptible to the artificiality of the culture and the myth of exclusivity and who would also be easier to "please" than the older collector who would care about these issues), thus this is not surprising to me at all. JB was created in 97 to milk the hell out of the line. Boy did their brainwashing work and is still working today.
HustlinFlip- as long as the shoe will sell (stores will order them), what does JB care if collectors are satisfied with the job? Nike never cared about us, even in 00 when the quality was still good. They used us for their own personal gain. 
 
Kick *** , bought the white midnight navy's before I knew these were comming out back in the day and regreted it badly, now I must scoop!

Ever consider that the photo is of the Grade School version of the shoe?
 
I totally understand all of you og heads, talking about nostalgia, quality, whatever...kudos for you.

I am actually happy with the midsole change. The less white to get dirty, the better. And i wouldn't even mind of they changed the blue leather to blue nubuck/suede/garbage. That would be a cool change that SHOULD keep og heads happy that these are not decreasing the value of all their other pairs. Just my 2 cents.

I think the change of the midsole colorblocking is good this time because:
1. the 2000 AJ 6 Olympics are not OGs anyway but a retro+ (so these will be retro of the retro)

2. with the reversed coloblocking these have the same contrast like the AJ 6 Carmines

3. MJ never wore these but Ray Allen, so i can live with that

4. owners of the 2000 version won't get mad because sneakerheads will know who has the 2000 and who has the 2012

My question now is: What material are the navy leather patterns? tumbled leather like on the 2000 version? Or Durabuck like the OG/retro Carmines/Oreos?

JB is giving us all these blue based jordans this year and next (flints,powders,Olympic 7s,obisidians,true blues,etc.)....hopefully we'll get SB 6s and navy/black 13s eventually
