Jonathan Stewart rushed for a career best 253 yards, scored one touchdown on the ground and through the air (screen pass).

Justin Roper played very well and the defense was great, forcing turnovers, and scoring twice on a couple of pick-six plays.

Great way to close the 2007 season for the Ducks. What could have been...absolutely, but I'll take the win and be happy

I think Without Dixon. You are in big trouble. Load up on Stewart in the box and that is a problem.

Anyone going to the game? I'll be THERE. Tailgate starts 3 hrs before the game.

Last yr was the first sunbowl in 11 yrs that i missed. last time oregonwas here they had those bright yellow unis. Saw a bunch of the Oregon and S.f. players at a bar the other night. Those guys are huge.

USF's a good team....i know i'm stating the obvious...but Oregon is a different team without dixon.

especially with Leaf backing him up...

Oregon is down to their fifth string quarterback. Leaf (#2) got hurt against Arizona/UCLA and is done for his career, Nathan Costa tore his MCL/ACL amonth plus ago, and Cody Kempt just sucks...

Here's to hoping Justin Roper plays the game of this life...and J-Stew too

when it rains..it pours eh?

I never knew the injuries were that bad...to be honest. i was distraught when i saw dixons knee buckle at Arizona..

here's to Stewart having a god-like day against the bulls.

I think we'll play well, only reason we didn't beat Oregon St. is because one of our coaches made a bonehead move and sent the kick team out with noTO's instead of spiking the ball. I think this game might come down to whether our D can contain Grothe because I think our O will be able to squeezesomething like 2o points out of what they currently have.

these penalties...

Mike Bellotti was just

at Will Tukuafu earlier. But I'm surehe's just steaming at the team right now.

In good news, Roper has made some really nice throws. That throw to Derrick Jones was

FIrst aid just took one 72 yards to the house

That guy you call "First Aid" has been playin with turf toe. Dude put up 169 yards on a top five run D in the Civil War and isn't doing too badagainst a supposed great run D today.

wow. usf is dissapointing. They're a lot better than this

..bum-tastic.

Wow! Give Roper a month of practice and he doesn't look too bad. Of course Stewart being there takes alot of the pressure off of him. Hopefully Stewartcomes back next year. Would roper be the #1 going into next season?

Roper will have his work cut out for him if he wants to compete for the #1 QB in 2008. Oregon will have Nathan Costa, a couple of BYU transfers, and DarronThomas, and possibly even Terrelle Pryor to compete against...So we'll see.

And as for Stewart, I really, really hope he comes back...but obviously he's gotta do what he's gotta do for whats best for him and his family.

Please, Stewie, don't let this be your Oregon swan song!
