I second that..I mean I'm not wearing them anytime soon, but would like to at least have them in hand so I can look at them in all their glory lol. :nerd:

it's all part of their marketing plan. have seven or eight crappy releases, then one nice release to manipulate the masses and have them keep coming for more. smart tactic in my opinion.

Two pair of Air Jordan 7 “Raptors” have been customized with a 90′s twist. The television show “A Different World” embodied the youth and colors of the decade, and this customization does the same. An added creative touch comes in the form of a modified Jumpman symbol, and interior paint job on the box. The winning bid will have a choice of two personalized shoes. just got my pair from ndc and these are damn near flawless. almost passed up on these glad i didnt. eastbay pair should be here tomorrow
 
UnDSing these today. Creasing is there, but very minimal. We'll see how they look at the end of the day.
 
Original/OG colors (as in, colorways that came out during the original run of the shoes; NOT "retro+ OG" colorways) have a certain significance to me, so I would never want to customize them into something different.

New/"retro+" colors on the other hand... those basically are customs to me, so I actually have less of a problem seeing those customized (example: customizing Oreo 6's is fine, but I would leave my Infrared 6's alone).

It's not really a "respect" thing... it's just a significance thing. The original colorways mean a lot more to me, so changing them is out of the question.

That said, I'm not a huge fan of those customs either (I mean, the work looks amazing... but not on that colorway).
 
got 1 pair on eastbay, 1 pair from finishline... feel like i have to wait forever to get them. thanks for the pics and news that these are pretty good quality. can't wait to wear them.

My left foot fits perfect on a 10.5 (im a size 11) but my right foot is snug like hell . I got Fu**** up feet :smh: |I
