I loved J.Crew like 10 years ago or so but it went way downhill;  was in there for the first time in years...
they are killing it with their collaborations from Levi's, Converse,Adidas,Clarks along with really nice shirts, sweaters and really nice denim....gonna have to start shopping there again; was pleasantly surprised it's like a whole different store from 5 years ago

yep i shop there. they definitely have some nice items. good style pieces.

yea its cool, but every time i go in i cant bring myself to spend the money on that stuff, like everything i touch i already have 3 of, they dont have anything that i can jusitfy purchasing without the distinguishing factor being its J.Crew

abercrombie, gap/br is having 40-50% offs nearly every week.  i used to mess with BR but their stuff has been falling off hard...

I heard J Crew were poaching the designers at RRL and even got them to make the switch by offering more $$$$

J crew is dope, just too expensive from my taste. Being a broke college kid smh

ksteezy any details on black Friday sale?

JCrew makes nice clothes, especially if it fits you well but for me, I'm only interested in their urban slim fit pants (because they fit me real well) and mostly just their collab items like Alden, JP, Nike, etc...

They aren't collaborating, they are selling other brands alongside their own.

J. Crew jumped full force into the "Heritage" trend.

I find it funny how J.Crew was just discovered here...

No one remembers the roll neck sweaters, barn jackets, anoraks and comical multiple layers of the 90's J. Crew?!?!

then why are they stamped "made exclusively for J.Crew"?
I stopped at J.Crew in the late 90's to prob. around 2003 then they started to fall off hard

I stand corrected. They are collaborating on some items.

I have noticed that they have also been selling quite a few other brands as well though (non-collaborations).

Yeah it's a mix here and there, other brands makes limited items that are only available through JCrew even though some doesn't say JCrew in it.
It's weird though, JCrew is also being sold on other websites now too like MrPorter, I've never seen an independent mall brand being sold as a designer brand outside of Brooks Brothers.

I get discounts for anyone in NYC if interested, pretty cool with a few managers here and there.

Their outerwear lately has been pretty good.

I have about 10 pairs of boxers from J. Crew, and a straw hat. Maybe a t-shirt... They've stepped their game up. I have way more Banana Repub casual clothes but J. Crew is a strong 2nd option. Not high on their Sperrys
