anyone peep J.Crew lately???

^^^ I have 4 Vneck tees which I've put through the washer countless times any they only get better...so weird, I'm the type of dude that buys a pack of Hanes vnecks and use them as disposables, I'm so weird about tee shirts, that is why I'll never invest in a tee shirt that cost more than 30$...I might have to check out A&F

I've bought one shirt there and I liked it.
Alot of the stuff doesn't fit me though. Being Skinny Fat blows :smh:
I swear you have to have a certain body frame to shop there.

J. Crew is worse and worse everytime I've been in there.

Haven't bought anything since roughly 2011... when the shop really fell off trying to bring mainstream trends and **** into the J Crew vibe
 
I don't see them turning into gap. I only check out gap for their jeans and pants. Jcrew still has a lot of good stuff. Plus their collabs with other brands are nice.
 
as long as you're catching those 25%+ sales, not bad. just got a nice quilted jacket for 150 that'll be my go-to this fall.
 
So here's a quick Sparknotes on JCrew:

- Company has been taking massive L's and laying off people left and right
- Most of this is a result of a few factors including: designs are horrible (looking at Jenna Lyons) and prices climb
- Only cop stuff on sale. They always run 25-40% discounts and at the end of the season, it even touches 50-75%
- Quality is very decent and great at sale prices
- Customer service is fantastic; probably the best out of all the major mall brands
 
You buy JCrew, youll see 10-15 cats in your town with the same shirt, shoe, jacket or sweater. Lazy mans guide to dressing better. Im good on that

J Crew made a nice comeback but they are in trouble again

no one want to pay $80 for a plaid shirt, their pricing model is screwed and bad
 
Only buy Jcrew when they're having a 30% off sale (which they have pretty much evey other month)
 
Yeah I usually try to catch as much as possible when they're doing store wide sales. It's especially nice when you can grab something off the sale rack for an extra 30 or 40% off. It's my second favorite brand after Ralph.
