Don't worry man. I love the IXs and I'm pretty sure I hate the lows. The VIII lows trump the IX lows all day IMO.

I grew up in his area and know a few of his peeps from high school. There are too many stories of d-baggery, even pre-nba, for me to support the dude. Plus, the situation that went down in colorado? I mean come on man. But thats just my take. Im not flaming on kobe fans. I respect his game, just not him personally.

Got my pair in from Eastbay. These are great, they look good to me with the default or red laces, so I'll probably be switching them up from time to time.

These guys are athletes and that's what I judge them on. MJ is a certified jerk off the court, talked wild noise on it, but dominated and had what an undying will to win. I respect that. Same with Kobe. I honestly don't care what they do off the court. You don't know what Kobe did with the mental chick in Colorado besides piping her. MJ cheated on his wife. Happens everyday. These guys aren't saints. I'm personally not a Lebron fan, but I respect his talent and will to win, just dislike the route he took to try to obtain it. I originally thought the 3m laces from the Dunkmans were going to look the best in my Big Bangs. Turns out, the sea foam green cannon laces do work in the BBs.

A chick at work today had on the Cool Grey 9s...was quite surprised. She said her bf got them for her on V-Day. Then later on I went to the gas station, some cat had on the Dunkmans

I got my Dunkman laces from an NTer cuz I didn't like the Dunkmans at all.
Ranking what I have:
1. Big Bang
2. China
3. Cannon
4. Swingman
5. Xmas
But don't get it twisted I love the concept of the Xmases. Those 3m speckles on the upper and the icey sole with "snow" speckles are great, minute details. The fact that they're last on the list shows how many sick colorways the IX can boast.

Does the PE's that brons wearing tonight have the #6 on the back instead of th LJ logo? I could be wrong and I'm sure I am but the back of the shoe looked like it had a 6 to me.
