STARBURY - BIG BEN - OCT 2007 RELEASE W/PICS

Nice, it has a Tmac 5 look to it with the strap coming across. Besides for $15 bucks its not that bad. I personally happen to own both the Starbury 1 & 2, and I really dont have any complaints like someon already stated just buy a decent insole and your ready to go.

these are actually pretty nice for a 15 dollar price point. Thats not very much room to create a quality basketball shoe. I dont expect the brand to compete with the looks of the higher end shoes right off the bat. It is good to see that they are steppin it up with every consecutive shoe design though. they just opened up a steve and barrys in the bay area so i just picked up some starbury 1s. I felt a little over pronation when trying them on but over all they are pretty comfortable right out of the box.on a side note, it actually felt kinda good buying these. I hope im not the only one who feels a little guilty using my 150 dollar kicks for what they were intended.
 
These look nice. And the logo is pretty cool too. BB for Big Ben, W for Wallace, his number 3, all wrapped into one. Not bad.
 
I think what he doing is nice hot lookign shoe for low price id buy them if i dint have money to afford other stuff

For the price, you definitely can not go wrong. I have a pair of Starbury 1s and they're my daily basketball shoe along with w/ the zoom Kobe 2s. Gotta love it for $15 dollars!

Those are ok for kids who mom's and pop's can't buy lebrons...but I could never see myself trying to play ball in those. I wonder what they do to his PE's? I know for a fact he wouldn't ball in the ones he sells for 15 bucks.

my friend tore up his starbury II's within the first month he had them. and he isn't that tough on his shoes. not from any kind of defect or whatever, just from normal wear and tear and some casual ball playing (like pick up games)

however, for 15 bucks...just get a new pair.

ben wallace likes very hard and low-to-the ground cushioning, so the starburys are right up his alley: he's worn the and1 chosen one, which gave me bruises in my forefoot.

I just called my steve and barrys store and they said they're expecting them in around mid october.

I'll have to go to a local Chicago-area store, either North Riverside or Chicago Ridge, to see them in person...if anyone sees them out there, lemme know...
 
for $15 you can't expect much, but dont sleep on the starbury's. i just use them as disposable shoes. for example, the ones that look like AF1's, once i get them dirty, i don't clean them, i just toss them. they are disposable. but nice to use if you are in need of a fresh white pair of kicks to wear to an event or something. i have a pair of the basketball sneakers too. nice to wear around, but not for serious ballin. i wore them to work once and my feet were killin me afterwards, but when i wear them around, they are cool
