I'm about 5'10...I would say im pretty good...i hustle, good shooter, good rebounder, only thing is im not that good at driving to my left, i think that would definately be a problem..but overall ill say if they actually gave me 30 mins per game..i would average maybe 10ppg
So let me get this straight your 5'10 and can't go left but you will get 10ppg?
He said *about* 5'10.

So.. 5'71/3

Good rebounder though.

I'm 6'3, 222lbs with a really low heart rate. Running is not a problem for me. I like to do a lil bit of everything when I play. I can probably score 8-9 points grab 5-6 boards, and dish for like 3 assists off the bench. Major props to everyone for accessing their NBA skills, I know it can be hard to be completely honest when critiquing yourself lol.

some of you acting like nba players are gods. Come on 1 pointin 48 minutes? thats reasonable
put a nter with lebron n they guaranteed a bucket

can't tell if people are being serious or not, so i'll leave this here

If average joes can't even score a point against the arguably slowest player in the NBA playing half-assed, what chance in hell do you have against a guard or small forward? Even if you were to be left wide open, I think some of y'all underestimating how quickly these dudes close out.

they werent even average joes...one dude was on syracuse squad last year..and anyone who plays ball knows, only the 'real' ballers get scholarships...even fewer get d1 scholarships...

no way any of us score in the NBA....unless somebody up here was moonlighting as a NTer but is really a d1 caliber player...but i doubt thats the case...

dudes in here wouldnt even score in a mountain west game..i guarantee it...

anybody who played high school ball can tell you that the jump from high school ball to mid major college ball is HUGE in terms of speed, athleticism, length, skills...

the jump from the mountain west to the ACC being even greater...now go up allll the levels until you reach the NBA....the last man on the worst squad on an NBA roster will hit yall local courts and look like jordan..splashing/dunking everywhere...and thats a dude that gets 0 burn..

'seen hoop dreams deflate like a true feinds weight'

Im saying man. Its good to be confident in your abilities but scoring in an nba game is not as easy as you think. Look at austin rivers who was a star at duke and went top 10 in the draft. In the nba hes barely making layups.

If you ever go to an nba game, at half time they let a contestant shoot open shots from all over the floor for money and some people brick these shots just from the pressure of thousands of people watching. You think its gonna be easier with the best basketball players in the world guarding you?

^^^ my point exactly. NBA role players drop 5-8 points avg their career. What in the world makes you think an average person could do that even for 1 game? The these dudes wouldn't drop 2 points in an and1 mix tape game let alone the NBA lol

I'm a shooter. All it takes is whoever guarding me relaxing or getting a little lazy, cause I can definitely pull it from the 3. That's why I said until they realize I aint even gonna attempt to drive. But if you practicing with them and you can function within the system why wouldn't you be able to get a open shot withing 48 minutes of play? The biggest bums in the league get open shotsd whoever guarding me aint gonna waste all their energy on d guarding a scrub when they know you aint gonna be going off at any moment[/nt. If you can shoot it really aint that hard to drop a couple points.

gotta love that open gym mentality.

1 maybe 2 points if I get fouled, 2 points if I cherry pick and get lucky.

here's my logic.

i went to iowa state from 03-07. i played against guys on the team all the time. in the 4 years and many players 2 made it to the NBA. getting buckets on them in a pick up setting wasn't that difficult. i can catch and shoot from anywhere. so if four transition opportunities presented themselves and i played with a great passer, i could knock down that 18 footer. in the halfcourt i'd have problems.

also, my senior year was KD's freshman year. we had a walk on named Chris and he was the designated KD stopper. he holds KD to 17 points on 6-16 shooting (KD just had an off night, but on paper it looked like he locked up.) fast forward to a month later and Chris is picking me up full court and i'm giving him buckets. sure there isn't nearly as much motivation as guarding the 5-7 kid. but still.

i could make the short corner jumper in transition.

I'm 6'5, 230 Lbs.

Played Varsity basketball and football at my high school in the Bay area.

Played intramurals all 4 years of college, pick up games 3-4 times a week.

Still currently play 2-3 times a week.

Now I'm 29, no where near as athletic at 21. But I honestly think in the right situation I could get a couple a bucket or 2, my mid-range J is probably the best part of my game now.

my jumper is money... if you aint got no J then you better be Rajon Rondo out there...

i'd avg about 5 ppg, them jokers aint letting my slow *** blow past them

Average 5ppg???? In that case, you should go hire an agent, because you have a million $$ career waiting for you.

I dont think anybody on here is scoring more than a bucket or 2 in an NBA game..but some of yall really got playing an NBA player one on one and playing in a team setting mixed up....
