You played all 48 minutes and was the shooting guard. How many points do you think you would score?

I'd say probably 2 or 4. smiley: ohwell

I doubt i can score at all, but if i have all 48 minutes maybe i can hit a couple of open jumpshots. So with some luck 2 to 5 points.

If i'm playing for cavs, against the raptors.....

0, unless I somehow managed to get an offensive rebound and got fouled on the putback. If that happened, I might get a free throw.

I haven't played organized basketball since 5th grade, but I have fluid hips.

0, cause the first time i touch the ball im shooting it from half court
post #13 of 523
Realistically... Single digits if Im lucky. laugh.gif

Depends how many shots I took.

I figure if I got off 12-15 shots?

Maybe two points. laugh.gif

2 or 4 points depending on how much I actually got to shoot. Definitely couldn't score on anyone, but if I could take a bunch of half open shots from deep i'd hit one...

If Mike Bibby or Steve Nash is on me for the majority of those minutes, I think realistically I could get 4-6 points.
Not a basketball player, but I am NAILS from the free throw line. So it would totally depend on how many fouls I draw. laugh.gif

2 or 4 points probably. When I played in college I barely had the stamina to play hard for 5 minutes (being in a stance at all times on defense is what killed me)...and we're talking 48 minutes with the most athletic players in the world...with a 24 second shot clock. I doubt I'd be able to jump after 10 minutes.
i say 5-6, if i get fouled a few times

Mike Bibby not being able to guard Westbrook is not the same as Mike Bibby not being able to guard you. I am sure he could make sure you don't touch the ball at all. What are your vitals.

I was honestly waiting for someone to make this type of statement, preferably using the Derek Fisher model.

No troll, but Derek Fisher would lock every single person on NT up. You would all make him look like Gary Payton.

smiley: laugh I'm no Westbrook 6'1 165, but there's no way you can make me think I can't get past Bibby once or twice and at least get a look at mid range shots.

1-2 points, none from the field though. I figure I'd prob get lucky and get to the line atleast once, probably clank the first and bank the second FT in. pimp.gif

I'm too fast for d-fish. Not saying he wouldn't lock me up but i'd have a couple open shots. Steve nash i think I'd have a couple good looks on him too dude is too lax on d. Mike bibby i'd have to get lucky. But none of them play the 2 so yeah I'm most likely not scoring, and if I did run the point I would get the ball ripped from me before hitting half court and be taken out within the first minute smiley: laugh. If I actually have a chance to practice with the team, learn the plays and all that I could hit a few though. Which probably goes for everyone that can shoot, when they don't give you that space though different story.

So you are going to get past him then what? Help defense magically disappears or something. You wouldn't score over Joel Anthony. smiley: laugh

Wade, open shots? So you feel that you can create that well that you can get an open shot in the half court? I mean unless he helps off of you, how are you expecting to get an OPEN shot?

I will be lucky to even touch the ball. I will probably be doing all the dirty work. I played a casual game against some D1 players and it was just smiley: sick.
Maybe if I get to play 5 to 10 games Ill do a little better, you know, a free throw here and there. smiley: laugh
