Honestly,

I'd score about 12 points.

I'm 6'4 btw. Played college ball division 2 and one year in Istanbul and avg like 9ppg before knee injury.

People don't get basketball by watching it on tv. The biggest difference is size and strength at high levels. I've seen players at my local fitness center with more skill than players on my team overseas. Size and strength is the difference. Structure also.

Out of curiosity, have you played against any NBA players before?

No slander

Played AAU with Jordan Crawford, Chris Douglass Robert's and Wilson Chandler. We played Dwight Howard, Rondo and Josh Smiths team once.

State championship vs AL Hortford.

Played vs George Hill, Eric Gordon and DJ White in college in Indiana.

While overseas Jan Vessley was on my team. Dude is a FREAK athlete man. I played against names like Wanamaker, Wilbekin, Jon Dieber, Earl Clark, Sonny Weems. Players at that level while overseas.

Stars in the nba are a different story. They are a different species. But players 9-15 on most rosters skill set (although above average) is attainable. It's about who you know sometimes and who your connected with.

see, i can believe this guy... he sound reasonable and knows that these guys are human too. Yes they make 90 percent of their shots in practice and can do dribble tricks when no one is guarding them but in a real game we all kinda go back to basics which is something everyone has to work on everyday to be a pro.. if most of us were 6'5 basketball would have a shorter career life. Instead of 10-12 years , it would be 4-6 because so many players can be replaced by a younger person on the rise for less guap

I played D2 ball and stay in pretty decent shape so I'd like to tell myself I could score a bucket or get to the free throw line, but I know I couldn't stop anyone on the other end so there's no chance I'd go in the game

There's a worlds difference between D2 ball and the NBA.

I don't think it's easy as you getting buckets at the rec. again no disrespect to anyone

Novak is a career 43% 3 point shooter which means in an empty gym he's probably making 90/100 threes.

Then you gotta factor in every 3 he shoots isn't wide open, so at 6-10 he has to be able make contested 3s with guys closing out on him.

Trust me I know. like I said I'd never even step on the floor. That being said, if you can really shoot it, you're going to find a way to hit a shot at some point. I've got enough trust in my jumper to take and make one contested shot. I'm not silly enough to think it's gonna happen multiple times, I just think I could get one bucket given the opportunity.

One on one probably zero as I'm 5'9 and not quick enough for NBA standards to create proper spacing to shoot or to drive into the zone despite the defense is lesd tight than in the 1990s.
Might only score if a player like Lebron passes me at the right spot.

I'd probably go 1-3 at the free throw line get another 4 points off bad passes leading to easy layups & chuck up a 3 before the end game buzzer like NBA jam lol 8points total
