Denver Nuggets (10-4) 2023-24 Season Thread: 11/22 @ Magic

Watched a good portion of the Nuggets tonight, really enjoy watching them play.

Mostly because I'm still a very big Gallinari fan.

Rudy found his game

Nenê's aggressiveness is really surprising & impressing me. Those 2 dunks he had were pretty vicious. I also expected him to come into the season out of shape after the lockout, which he's proved me wrong.

Fernandez was nice, 11 points & 8 assists... looked good shooting the long ball. Dre Miller with 12 assists off the bench. Not only is it great that Felton is gone, but Dre is definitely an upgrade.

Looking forward to the Portland game, although I'm feeling that it will be the Nuggets' first L.

Nuggets look incredibly fast these first two game. I never seen them look this fast. Ill said it once and ill say it again Melo was our week link in becoming the defensive team karl wanted. Glad to see them doing well this year.

The team defense is solid but individually

...no close outs on 3's, weren't boxing out and that was against a pretty bad team
I expect Felton feels has something to prove and will end up doing too much.

Gallo much show up for the entire game.

Attack the paint get Camby,Wallace, LA in foul trouble and keep them off the glass

The pace of this game is absurd

Shots aren't falling & the game is still tied I'll take it

DEN is the perfect team to play this pace. So much depth and no dominant players. If Chandler and/or Martin come back, look out!

Nuggets didn't play great at all. Crawford killed them in the third quarter and Nene went ghost. 10 and 9 isn't going to cut it from him. He played really passive and gave up fighting for post position too easily.

I was disgusted by the decision making throughout the game and GK's decision to leave Rudy in and get destroyed on defense...four 3s and how many defensive 3 sec techs? SMFH
Games against younger teams like Portland(especially close games) are the ones this squad HAS to learn how to win because those are the types of teams will give us the most difficulty in the playoffs.

Nene went Ghost but Portland played him pretty good. But don't forget about Gallo(those 2 or 3 missed shots when the game was 100-104

If Lawson leads this team in scoring it's gonna be a long season.

I can't remember the last time I've been as mad as I was when Gallinari missed that lay-up. I went from having my arms up in excitement think he was going to tie the game, to yelling and punch/throwing furniture.

That was absolutely brutal to watch. Absolutely nobody on the Nuggets played well, and GK's rotation is leaving much to be desired.

Lawson-sucked, Afflalo-sucked, Gallinari-go play in the WNBA; maybe you can make a lay-up against that competition or hit a 3 from the closer line, Nenê-it was nice of you to be aggressive for 1 game this year, Mozgov-Find your balls and play like you belong, Fernandez-Why is this guy getting so much burn? He makes the dumbest decisions and can't make $%&#, Andersen-MIA pretty much all season; I wonder how long before he complains about his minutes?

Any place to catch the football games near the pepsi center today before the game? Im driving up from the springs.

guess i should mention ill have my 4 yr old daughter

Guys really need to step it up.  I may have to bring out the Team Fire GK Sig again.  The lineups make no sense.

Nuggets big man @kostakoufos will start for Nuggets tonight vs Bucks. Nene out with bruised foot. Karl says Nene is day-to-day.

With Nene out, Karl says he offered starting spot to Al Harrington, but Al agreed that the bench rotation is in a groove.

Zero mins to starter. GK is a joke.

Can't wait to see how many fouls the frontcourt racks up tonight.

sad but true.

I was pretty pleased with how the Nuggets bounced back against the Lakers yesterday. Defense was much better, rebounding was much better, and individual performances were much, much better.

The Bucks game was very ugly for 3.5 quarters or so, but that was expected with the Nuggets playing their 3rd straight game, and 5th in 6 days. Nice to see them gut it out though, looked good in the 4th when they got stops and got out running.
