I love Andre Miller.

GK needs to get it together with some of the lineups.
My players of the game were dre and wilson.Iggy continues to disappoint on offense but the defense was solid. That two on one break with Iggy and Dre almost cost the Nuggs the game. Iggy passes when he shouldn't and shoots when he shouldn't. Proud of the effort but the Nuggs played fairly poor most of the game.

I think that was the worst I've seen the Nuggets play all season, lucky they were able to sneak out with a win. Outside of Millers' 4th Q, Brewer's little stretch at the end of the 3rd, Iguodala's buzzer beating lay-up at the half, and the team's late game defense, it was a god awful performance from the Nuggets. As you said, it wasn't a lack of effort, which was why they were able to squeak away with the W--it was just bad/dumb basketball, for the most part.

Hate to see Lee go down, and I feel for Warriors fans, but the Nuggets really need to seize the opportunity and go up 2-0 Tuesday.

Can't forget Lawson's 3rd quarter.

Poor play and GK messing with the lineups(hurt them defensively) allowed them to comeback.

One of the four Iggy/Chandler/Fournier/Brewer should be on Curry at all times.

Yeah... but I did somehow. laugh.gif

His steal & finish on the 3rd last possession of the game too. pimp.gif

What do you guys think about the zone offense going forward? Teams have zoned them up all season and I think they missed a ton of jumpers and layups in game 1 but is it time to panic?

I'm not too worried about the zone, either. They were able to get some solid looks last game, and that was despite them being more stagnant with and off the ball than they usually are.

I agree, it just seems that GK's rotations when GS went zone actually helped GS.

Faried is suppose to play game 2. Might come of the bench.

My issue with the GK's rotations starts with Koufus.

He held it down most of the season but the past month or so he's been off ( he's been missing so many layups mean.gif )

Those rotations hurt the defense which made the offense struggle even more.

I agree exec. Koufus has struggled since the Memphis game.

Played no defense & GSW shot 60 plus percent and only up 8

McGee should be in during all late game or end of quarter situations mean.gif

Faried needs to start the second half to get the rotations back in order.
Terrible defense. Koufus is not playing well and Gk's rotations suck. Need a big 3rd

We're still looking good for the type of defense we played

Idk why GK is so high on Koufus mean.gif

Faried just isn't looking like himself

One thing about the road: Javale can play more minutes. But will Karl give it to him?

That was a pretty pathetic display last night.

The Nuggets have really put themselves in a tough spot now. It would be tough to steal one at Oracle if they were playing well, but if they keep their current play up, I fully expect GSW to go up 3-1.
Our 3 point defense has been bad all year and GS just exposed it last night.

The optimist in me says we'll split at Oracle but with how we play on the road I doubt that will happen

Game 3 is gonna be so hard. 1st playoff game in like what 6 years? But man if we can steal that I would love it. Going down 2-1 into Game 4 does not bode well for us.

#Nuggets coach George Karl on potential lineup changes: "Playoff basketball, you make changes. You don’t have patience."

Would not mind seeing

Ty-Brewer-Iggy-Chandler-Javale

Miller-Evan-(Iggy/Chandler) -Randolph-Faried off bench. Koufus can get minutes if foul trouble or if we need to go bigger and move Faried to the 4.
A lot more effort on the defensive end this game compared to last

Lawson being aggressive is great.. He should always play like this

Lawson is stepping up but where is the rest of the team this series? Their perimeter defense is slacking. I hope GK changes up the playbook next game I don't want the Nuggets leaving early.

The issues when you lack a star player.

This series is still up for grabs. Show up in game 5 and it all comes down to game 6

Yup. We gotta feed off our home crowd and just use this momentum for a win and carry it to Game 6. If we steal one in Oracle they have to win at our house and that's big.

I'm very disappointed in GK. All credit to GS but for years GK complained that he needed a roster of coachable guys and we still can't get out of the first round. Just pathetic.mean.gif
