Denver Nuggets (10-4) 2023-24 Season Thread: 11/22 @ Magic

Clinched homecourt for the 1st round and if I'm looking at the standings we also got the third seed since we have the tiebreaker with the Clippers and the Grizzles

CMamba, we only get the third seed if we beat the Suns at home or the Clippers lose again. If we tie the clippers they get the 3rd seed since they are the division winner.

damn you Bucks and giving up game winner smh.

Needed ya'll to lose since Memphis beat dallas, I want that 3 seed!

Sighss, o well.

Great season guys. It was awesome routing for the Nuggets with you guys. Lets hope they make noise in the playoffs.

Well said, aepps. It's a small community of Nuggets fans on here, but a good one. I never would've thought this team was capable of coming close to 57 wins at the beginning of the season. Even more spectacular when you think about all the time Chandler, Gallinari & Lawson missed throughout the season.

Glad this squad was able to finish the season strong, really looking forward to Saturday. I'm sure the Can will be rockin.

My players of the game were dre and wilson.Iggy continues to disappoint on offense but the defense was solid. That two on one break with Iggy and Dre almost cost the Nuggs the game. Iggy passes when he shouldn't and shoots when he shouldn't. Proud of the effort but the Nuggs played fairly poor most of the game.

I think that was the worst I've seen the Nuggets play all season, lucky they were able to sneak out with a win. Outside of Millers' 4th Q, Brewer's little stretch at the end of the 3rd, Iguodala's buzzer beating lay-up at the half, and the team's late game defense, it was a god awful performance from the Nuggets. As you said, it wasn't a lack of effort, which was why they were able to squeak away with the W--it was just bad/dumb basketball, for the most part.

Hate to see Lee go down, and I feel for Warriors fans, but the Nuggets really need to seize the opportunity and go up 2-0 Tuesday.

Can't forget Lawson's 3rd quarter.

Poor play and GK messing with the lineups(hurt them defensively) allowed them to comeback.

One of the four Iggy/Chandler/Fournier/Brewer should be on Curry at all times.

What do you guys think about the zone offense going forward? Teams have zoned them up all season and I think they missed a ton of jumpers and layups in game 1 but is it time to panic?

I'm not too worried about the zone, either. They were able to get some solid looks last game, and that was despite them being more stagnant with and off the ball than they usually are.

I agree, it just seems that GK's rotations when GS went zone actually helped GS.
