The Glove Thread / Zoom Flight 98

Never was a fan of these but I know for sure my OG Tio gonna go crazy when I tell him they dropping these again.

That man rocks these every weekend with his nike sweatsuits.

Wow...it's about time. My OG's are actually holding up very well, aside from one of the zippers of course.

I can't believe it's been that long since my guy retired...It's going to be emotional watching my guy get in The Hall.
He's going in with that Green and Gold!
 
^^ yo were those red ones considered paytons?? i always thought the ones with nike written were its own nike shoe.
 
I thought the "Son of Glove's" were take-down models... cheaper versions of the Zoom Flights? The uppers felt cheap and plasticy if I remember correctly. Certainly not as nice as the spandex-type material of the black Zoom Flights... I think the white ones used leather/vinyl?

Can't be certain, but I don't recall GP ever wearing those...

Can anyone confirm?

You give nike ideas then they will quickstrike them.

Then the beasts and resellers will create a faux demand for them and voila babygirl...

Low quanitity and difficult access.

I had both pair in high school. I saw GP last year and asked him about the Gloves and said Nike is in the works with them. I was like "about time". These will probably sit due to the fact that older folks would only cop, cuz we know the history of these.
 
My zipper started to fail on my white ones. I think these are still at my aunts house. Might go pay a visit
 
the shoes with the nike script on the side are the son of glove's a takedown version of the zoom gp. The main difference was a heel airsole, leather upper and nike script.
 
black pair is a MUST!!  i dont expect too much from Nike, just happy to get a pair so i can finally play ball in these again!

.....and most importantly Son of Glove's don't have Monkey Paw.

To clarify for everyone.

Gloves (Zoom Flight 98) = blk/wht neoprene upper with red Monkey Paw & wht/blk leather upper with green Monkey Paw. All PE's are Gloves.

Son of Glove = Everything else. Different midsole/bottom sole than ZF98, cushioning, Script and Swoosh toes, variety of colored uppers etc.
