How late does UPS deliver? vol Package been out on delivery for 8 days

I have a laptop out on delivery as of 6am this morning, usually UPS gets to my hood round 12-3 pm, but so far I still havent received anything. I do understand it is holiday season. I tried goggling but didnt really get a solid answer, I saw somethings about 530 then somethings about they deliver until the truck is empty. Any insight?
 
They should deliver until the truck is empty. I worked at UPS and the latest I've seen a truck come in was about 8 or 9
 
Hope you mean 8 hours and not 8 days like your title says. But just last night i got a delivery around 7. This time of year they get swamped so your usual delivery times will change.
 
I usually get mine between 3-5PM, but one time, the jerk came at 10PM, the hell?
I gave up hope past 8, but when dude came, I gave him the illest

Note, this was not during any holidays.
 
UPS usually comes by between 3-5, but sometimes they drop off around 8...
I don't really care these days. It'll get here when it gets here. The thing that gets me is when they just leave my %%$! on the porch and don't ring the doorbell or knock

Funny you say that. I have a package being delievered by FedEx, and its 9:09, it says its in transit...but the estimated delivery is tomorrow, im confused :-\. I hate the anticipation.

if it's a bad driver, he will falsely mark as 'attempted delivery'
and then deliver it the next day if so inclined

but i got something from ups just before 9pm once during the holidays
 
but if you can get a hold of someone at the hub,

you can almost always drive there & get you expensive item that night
after the trucks come back (if not delivered)

I had to do this once for a package. The lady at the hub told me with a straight face that the truck was scheduled to come in 5mins before the hub was closing for the day
 
Eh it happened to me too. I ordered some shoes on the 21st and they didn't show up til today. It's bound to show up. What you get when you pay normal shipping
