In their boxes, without paper. That's it. Stacks on stacks. I only display my unwearable shoes cos the sunlight murders anything you put in its way.

I store them in their original boxes and put most of them on metal shelving. The rest of them are either underneath the bed or in the closet. I need a third shelf. This pic was from a year ago when I rearranged the room.

plastic ziplock bags...dont close them all the way tho...leave them in the OG box with all the tissue paper still inside...

keep mine in the original box in a dark / air conditioned room. Shoes holding up good

I've been looking for a good metal shelving unit. I checked out target and saw some but figured I could get better ones elsewhere. Mind sharing where you picked yours up at?

I think I brought them at Lowes on Black Friday a year ago (2013). They were $75 each, but I got them for $50 each because they were on sale. There are other shelving that can hold as much as the ones I got can they are probably less expensive.

If it is not Lowes, then it is at Home Depot. But I'm almost certain that I brought them at Lowes.

problem to me it's that i have no room left in my house... moving to another just to make room for more kicks sounds insane.... i might do that!!!!

I have been using Sterilite 16 quart plastic bins for all 30 of my shoes . They cost about $2.50 at my local target . Once I buy them I drill 2 quarter sized holes in each end of the bin to allow air to circulate through the bin .

The boxes they come in I save in my storage unit that way if I do ever sell the buyer can get the original box .

But I believe storage is a matter of preference. As long as you stay up on your shoes and don't let them sit closed up for multiple years I believe you'll get a little more than the expected lifetime out of them .

check out slickdeals. they post deals on these storage shelves pretty frequently. i recently purchased 2 of these for my garage (6 shelves) for $60 each. that includes free shipping to your house so you don't even have to deal with loading your car.

Should i take out the paper in my jordan 1 box and replace it with towel since the paper will cause the midsole to yellow. Oh should i throw in some silica gel pack as well? I store my kicks in closet

Paper Won't Cause Yellowing Of The Midsole, Silca Packets Will Not Help Anything

The Paper Used In Shoe Boxes During The 90's Were Acidic (Even That Was Not A Big Deal) Today's Paper Is Harmless. The Midsole Will Yellow With Age & Wear, There's Nothing That Can Stop That From Happening, Just Ways To Treat Them Once It's Happened.
