More than likely... it seems like all the true fans of Iverson or this shoe either already have it or refuse to pay 125 for it.
The other true fans ones who are getting it probably used their OGs to walk/ball in (because it was a great shoe) and want another.
The rest of the public are too Jordan Lebron KD shopping to even second look this..
I mean in all honesty, this shoe is a nice clean shoe. but its not popping with outstanding features for the new sneaker heads to really come and grab this IMO

Exactly! I loved my OGs and crushed em. Never bought the teams cause I hated to suede toe. I'm passing on the Olympic 6, Olympic 7, mars 4s, 6/7 pack, south beach lebrons all that over hyped crap and getting these and saving a lot of money. Thank you reebok!

Are you guys seriously complaining about a $26 price increase over SIXTEEN (16) years??! C'mon son...knock it off with all the crying. Except for technology products, what industry has NOT seen an increase in price over the last 16 years. I'm not gonna go too much into politics and economics, but $26 price increase should be expected.

$125 is nothing. This was the first shoe that made me second thought my loyalty to Nike, and now that I'm older I just don't care.
I'm hoping these won't be all hyped up so I can just roll to Sheikh on my break and scoop them up Friday.
EDIT: Does anyone remember those low-top Classics that came out that had the same pearlized toe as the Questions?? I've been trying to remember the name of those for a while...

1st thing who the hell wears new balance and secondly no popular athlete I know of is sponsored by them so their quality has to be great for ppl to buy them and the supply & demand for them isn't the same as Nike, JB, or even Reebok in that matte. It's McDonald's is to Wendy's. Wendy's has better food for a lower price but just because of the name they'll go to McDonalds!!!
I have never in my life bought a pair of New Balance and I've been buying sneaks since ,96. I remember around that time they had this campaign "new balance: endorsed by no one". That's a really lame campaign. Their quality might be top notch (I have no idea, they've never convinced me to buy a pair), but their marketing is crap. Add that to some of the most unappealing designs ever, and you don't have a winner

NB caters to a whole different consumer. They aren't trying to be Nike or Rbk nor want to be. I do appreciate their manufacturing process though since 25% are made right here. That's great

I didn't want to say this but lets be honest, the reason Jordans can come out and be 60 over its original retail is because the man has 6 rings, he's a living legend. So people idolize anything Jordan. He made it so he himself is worth that money.
I'm not saying im a JB fanatic, hell I only have 2 pairs of JB's myself. I usually go with more modern models of shoes, i.e. Kobes, Lebrons, KDs, trainers.
But Iverson was hot for awhile, got to the finals, but never won. His shoe was hot yes but he left on a sour note, he's still playing and you can still find this shoe scattered in Outlets or no name stores. for under 50$ and on top of re releasing in 2010/11 yet there never being hype for them sort of like there is now. ..
I didn't have steady income like I do now before to re cop this but now that I do have the money. 125 for a 16 year old shoe, that i can probably find in an outlet if I looked hard enough, and these are pretty much going to sit anyway because everyone is in Nike hypnosis (I sort of am myself)

This is the dumbest comment ever!!! 1st Nike is charging $160 for Sir Charles and he's won no rings so %$+@. Allen Iverson was in the early '00s what Jordan was in the 90s. He singlehandedly revolutionized the sport of basketball to what it is today and when he was playing he was the face of the NBA not Shaq, Kobe, Vince, Tracy, or even Jordan for that matter. No one was wearing sleeves, heavily tatted, and cornrowed(except Spreewell) til AI the trendsetter then and still now from Chris Paul and Derrick Rose to Melo and D-Wade everyone has took something from Iverson. $125 now in days is a steal for a retro as covenant as the Questions so stop female doggin over the price tag. P.S. Not tryin to be an A-Hole but AI is a role model yeah his off court drama isnt pretty but what that man did on the court was INCREDIBLE. One of the few athletes who has a love for the game.

Listen I'm not dissing AI for his on the court ball skills...paying that much for barkley is ridic also...I think paying anything over 100 for old tech is ridic but maybe that's just still the cheap old me who didn't have money like that back in the day...I'm just saying if these have sat several times and reebok knows this..why not release them at a lower price generate that buzz and hopefully guranteed sell out with the qs...then when the other colors drop raise that price... The people want Jordans/ kobes/ brons/kds Only a select fan base as I mentioned earlier are yearning for these.. the pearlized toe the dropped R all that are nice little touches compared to some of the og and re releases. Just saying I think on the fence people would cop and make this shoe more popular (which would hopefully generate more buzz for all of his shoes to come out again be wider spread...new colors...) I know us true fans of the shoe are saying....(yes I hope the hypers don't buy easy cop for me) but all in all we want these to do well so we can get more releases...

this. ive found that most people try to hate on NB simply because they, for the most part, only make runners. also the people who hate on them typically ONLY buy bball shoes resulting in them having no clue what they are talking about outside of that realm of footwear. the truth is whether its nike, jb, adidas, NB, asics or any other brand, most of these sole lickers wouldnt even be in this thread if this wasnt a "basketball" shoe...

like the red toes, but LOVE the blue toes. my all time reebok grail. went to my local jimmy jazz and they aren't receiving the reds so ima wait it out for the blue.
