The last time I felt this worried for a guy was last year's X-Games, watching Travis Pastrana nail a double-backflip.

I hope us West Coast folk don't get the delayed airing. I want to see him make it.
 
What time does is it supposed to start on the West Coast? Cause it starts at 8pm for me ( i live in SF )
 
Thats some crazy stuff, I caught Ghost Rider on showtime yesterday and was laughing at the idea of someone attempting that, I had no idea it was even possible.
 
This is my first time hearing about this. I don't see anything on espn.com for it.
This guy is insane for trying this, no way he's going to come close IMO.

So it's more than 100 yards then, unless he's landing at the ten yard line. This was a glaring error in Ghost Rider. He made the jump of "100yards" as they called it, but he went goal post to goal post, which is 120 yards. Not a whole lot of math majors and sports experts in those Hollywoodwriting sessions.
 
^ Man, that was so intense. I love the X-Games and so does my wife, so we saw that live. We definitely... no question about it... DEFINITELY thought we hadjust seen someone die.

*edit* And ESPN has been advertising this football jump as live in all of the commercials I've seen. Sooo... we'll see.
 
I thought he was doing it tomorrow morning at 11am, but guess not. At least give him a chance to survive the old year before bringing in the new one. Damncrazy people.
