In the casino, the cardinal rule is to keep them playing and to keep them coming back. The longer they play, the more they lose, and in the end, we get it all.

If you play blackjack don't get too drunk and start at the $5 or $10 tables if you don't know what you're doing. Learn quickly the rules about splitting and doubling down. It's the only way you stand a chance of coming out ahead over the long run.

Pai Gow is a great game to play if you get cold at blackjack but still feel like playing cards. Even if your luck sucks you'll still lose money a lot slower and you'll push a lot.

Only play Casino War if you are willing to lose and willing to lose fast. The game is simple and very fun when you get hot but it has the worst odds in the house.

If you play those table poker games always play the bonus hands as well. Pretty much the only way you come up.

The biggest thing is never play with more money than you can afford to lose. Gambling is about the adrenaline and the rush and the fun of being at a lively blackjack or craps table. Unless you are a professional level poker player do not try to use to gambling as a way to make money. You won't

yep, i played blackjack. got down 200 so i said screw it and played 300 on a hi stakes table. ended up losing 400 in 2 hands. then went to the big hi stakes table and put 500 down. had 375 of my money back but got greedy and lost it all back within on shoe.....

Any good stories?
Not a dealer but one time at Wynn me and my boys pooled our money together because one of our friends was insanely hot at Casino War. We ended up winning $2500 in a few hours while playing relatively small hands using this convoluted strategy we thought was brilliant and foolproof. These Saudi guys saw us having so much fun and tried to use our strategy and lost ~100K in 20 mins with no emotional response whatever. It was crazy.
