How does North Face fit?

I'm asking for one of those North Face Denali hoodies for Christmas but I'm not sure what size to get. Do they run true to size? I'm 6'3 and 175 tall and slim.

I know that some of the same models changed in size from one season to another. Go to Richards sporting goods and try one on. That way you won't need to worry about size.

do you live in North Dakota? they sell Denali's at a million stores

****'s, Macy's, Bloomingdales, etc

Depends on the jacket, I'd say true to size.  I'm 5'6" and I have the Inlux jacket in a small, it fits pretty good, not too big and not too small.  Get whatever size you normally wear with jackets.

I'd say a little bit larger than normal. I usually wear an M in all my clothing, but recently went with a small in a North Face jacket. Best bet would be to try on the jacket you're interested in at a store.

Definitely a bit big. For OP, honestly you're probably a tweener. A large will fit your body better, but the sleeves might not be long enough. An XL is going to give you the length but it's going to be enormous in the body. I'm 5'10" and 190 pounds and I wear a medium Denali and have plenty of room to spare.

north face is overrated and overpriced. paying that much for something made in china

Oh.Well. They're pretty timeless. People don't ask me: "why are you stuck in 91'?" when I wear my infrareds. Some items just age well.

some people don't wear North Face to be trendy; I bet if Kanye wore it you'd find it to be 2004 again
