I'm pleasantly surprised that Shine might have bodied Verb.

Shine is one of my favorites when he's on his game, so I'm happy to see improved K-SHine.
 
I feel like clips lost. But most people are gonna say it was debatable.

The surf and roc battle was what everyone expected. Surf has the best basketball/sports punches. Roc remains the gun bar king. I gave that one to roc too.
 
Official said Jaz had a 10 year old boy body...too funny...and Im givin Roc 2-1, that Dr Suess line was crazy...Clips 3rd round was heavy but overall its a debateable battle

I agree wit it all except Hollow 2-1 gotta give Clips 2-1...and Shine is the truth and he showed it 2nite...he had me mad wit em for that Mr Wavy battle tho, he was racin thru his bars too fast

It's debatable lol. If he would of destroyed Joe buddens. He barely won that. He beat lux IMO. Now that clips is supposedly battling lux at summer madness and wins. There' still would be no legit top guy.
 
The top URL battle rappers right now taking all things into consideration.

1.Lux- THe recent loss to Mook hurt him but Mook don't really do nothing and his battle with Iron Solomon was

booty cheeks so Lux remains number one. His battle with Hollow remains a consensus debatable, even though I think Hollow beat

Lux handedly. 

2A. Hollow Da Don- He's in the upper tier with Lux and Mook for one. He has a lengthy resume. ALthough the Budden and Surf battles

being close and debatable don't help. His clear loss to Arsonal still plagues him to this day. Some URL fans don't like him because

he made his fame off Grind Time, a league known for rappers that rap with that snarky "smart" style Basic URL faans don't connect with.

2B. Charlie Clips- The current heavyweight champ of battle rap. Although he has clear losses, they domn't matter to alot of URL
fans because they didn't occur on URL, and all his close URL battles are debatable. Charlie is the active number one until someone beats him

clearly on URL and the fans agree.

4. Murda Mook- Recent clear win over Lux. Great record on Mook but he hasn't had the recent resume to really back his status up. Mook is shootin for a big battle and I don't blame him. I appreciate Mook for trying to keep his value though.

5. What's scary about this is I can't think of someone for number 5, which for at least the near future is a problem.

Hollow got Clips 2-1, Charlie got the 3rd.

Verb got massacred, worst top tier body I've seen in a while.

It might be time for Von Doom to hang it up.

This wasn't a personal top 5, it was objective based on fan opinions, resumes, 

ad battle raps current culture/climate.

I personally think it was a VERY competitive 3-0 but some people gave the 1st to DNA.
I talked to him afterwards and he was sayin 2-1 but every battle rapper says that.

Official caught a BODY.
Some people got it as a 3-0 others as a 2-1 but it was consensus that it was a BODY. Performance of the night.

Clips 2-1 in the building.
Majority of the people I was around was neutral. But the talk in the crowd was Clips is unbeatable.
I'm seein people say Hollow won, maybe they watched a different battle. I personally did not see or hear a SOUL in Irving Plaza say Hollow won.
That's internet propaganda.
Anybody tweetin that got an L.O.M. shirt in their possession.
Some people did call it a tie live.

Debatable in the building. It was 2-1 split down the room. It all came down to preference.
I personally came to see Roc. I didn't think he could do 3 rounds of 'Gun bars' and beat Surf, but he sorta did.

In the building people enjoyed it VERY much. It seemed to live up to the hype.

I'm doin a FULL Story for HipHopScriptures.com so I'll have that up later, or tomorrow at the latest. Prolly a VLOG as well.

really underwhelming battle how can it build up to the hype?
I'm a Clips fan and was hoping he was gonna make a clear win. Don't know whats up with him he's gotta step it up. 2 lackluster URL battles.
Hollow had an awesome 1st round really exposing Clips style. He had a weird third and the usually random corny lines.

Actually looking forward to that Shine Verb battle. Can't wait to see this supposed Verb body

Gotta agree wit it all...that Official line about Jaz having a 10 year old boy body and if u like her u suspect sealed the deal for me...oh and im still wondering why Roc and Surf went last, sumthin mustve happened backstage
