You're talking as if Clips is just this upper echelon that Hollow isn't. Like this is the Rookies vs. Vets card. Do you know how many battlers want to battle Hollow? He's top 3-5 of all time G. Clips said it himself "I have to beat Hollow, then Lux or Mook before I can be called the GOAT."

That's out of Charlie's own mouth. So that Hollow had to be Charlie and not the other way around angle doesn't make sense to me my G.

EVERYTHING I've read outside of your review says that that CLEARLY didn't happen. I'ma Charlie & Hollow fan so I wanted this to be a classic with no winners but from everything I heard Clips didn't hold up his end of the bargain. Which is sad.

I ain't taking nothin away from Hollow. He a Hall of Famer.

But Charlie is as well. And even concerning Mook, the people Mook has battled to me isn't THAT impressive. I think he's AMAZING, but he had a debatable with Lux 10 years ago. A maybe debatable with Party Arty. I personally think Millz beat him, but since Millz didn't KILL him people seem to lean towards Mook. He sorta beat Serious Jones. Beat Young Hot :lol: Iron Solomon :lol: and Lux recently.

That resume is NOT impressive.

Mook is a legacy battle rapper on the opposite end. Yes had like 6 battles people have seen. And caught 3 BODIES and other 3 wernt decisive.

Hollow resume better than Mook (while I don't think he's better per say)

Lux is VERY good, but if he was coming up now, it would take him YEARS to be at this level he has been elevated to now.

All them ****** is LEGENDS tho. But as anything, it's levels to this.

You have Arsenal and Hollow.
Then you have ****** like Clips, Mook, and even tho he is maybe more hated than Aye Verb, Serious Jones is in the same class as Ars and Hollow, even tho he deserves to be on that Clips, Mook level, people simply don't like him.

If Hollow, Clips, Mook or any of thewe LEGENDS spit the **** Serious Jones spit they would get praised for it.

With that being said, Jae Millz has to come back. He would beat ANY of these ******, provided he still has it, I can't listen to his music so I don't know.

I spoke to Rex and he's said it's looking like Reed Dollaz for Summer Madness.

They ain't let my man Math in :lol: he was outside ****** with ****** afterwards tho.

As long as Calicoe is at Summer Madness I'll be good.

It's supposed to be an event next month, not sure if that footage of SMACK sayin that made it on the web or nah

Math and Verb had a REALLY good convo as well, somebody was filming, not sure where it will end up tho

Clips has become almost a LEGACY battle rapper, he doesn't have to be 100% to beat Hollow. He doesn't have to be 100% to beat ANYone. That wasn't the best Hollow, but in his head he Prolly gave 110% in that, you're not gonna beat Clips like that.

I'm tryin to see if Jae Millz could possibly comeback, take a few warm up battles, then battle Clips.

When you uncrown a KING it can't be debatable, you have to TAKE his head. Because Charlie is gonna get the benefit of the doubt, he EARNED that. And Hollow has that level of seniority against about 98% of competition, but not Clips.

Hollow rapped well, his performance was on point, but he had to TRY to beat Clips.

Clips don't have to TRY to beat Hollow, that's why he can rap about Cortez for half a round. Hollow know what it is. People that know, KNOW.

If Hollow REALLY thought he did enuff to beat Clips with that ****, be NEEDS to take Lux advice and stop drinkin that lean.

Its all gonna come down to how people judge a battle.

I dont think Hollow WON the 1st.
I'm not sure if Clips WON the 1st.
I personally leaned towards Clips.
Clips LOST the 2nd
Clips WON the 3rd.

Hollow the Don DID not WIN a battle on May 9th.
Charlie Clips did not LOSE a battle on May 9th.

I would've liked to see the Clips that battled Rex against the Hollow that battled Lux

That's not what happened.

We got a Clips that dedicated half his round to the Spanish equivalent to Rich Dollarz.

We got a Hollow that dedicated his first verse to exposing a "corny" style. But somehow that's DOPE I guess.

Hollow had to BEAT Clips.
He didn't do that.

Im not sure what the consensus expectations was, but I think it was a SOLID battle from 2 guys who for whatever reason didn't quite look their BEST. I can't say it was for lack of effort, at least not on Hollow's end.

Serious Jones needs to be battling better dudes. Battling DNA is disrespectful. And he got a REALLY good version of DNA.

Serious is the MOST disrespected and MOST hated dude not named Aye Verb, and I still can't figuire it out.

Hollow broke down and exposed Charlie's style . he called him on not having 3 rounds . he clowned Charlie and his girl . he had haymakers , schemes , personals , jokes , performance . that round to anyone who is objective wasnt even close

Maybe I was HIGH.
Or the Clips fan that was in front of me convinced me.

I simply didn't see Hollow WIN that round. At best maybe a tie.

I wasn't really too familiar with Clips. I just got the chance to backtrack and watch his battles, he's definitely not above not WINNING a battle or even LOSING one.

I only saw Clips vs Verb.
I went "away" before Summer Madness 2,

when I came home Clips had become the MAN, and I didn't know why or how.

Mad ****** that was pretty good had become VETS and LEGENDS in the 2 years I was gone.
 
My goodness, Jaz never had a chance. I got her getting 3-0'd with Official edging the 3rd. If she would've kept talking about Katrina in the 3rd.....man, SMH. Welp, Jaz's first L, I know 40 somewhere partying.

I think Hollow should battle Pat Stay next because they are both the top dogs at each organization.

That would actually be a dope battle.

The winner of the battle was that crook SMACK White. Allegedly had 8,000 people buy the Pay Per View, and had a sold out venue. He was on cloud 9 outside afterwards.

About the clips and hollow battle.

Clips is the crowned king right now. I feel like hollow debatably won. But look how many losses Charlie has debatably had in the past 2-3 years. He's also more active then anybody on his level (Rex,hollow,mook,lux). So even if he loses a close battle there's a sacrificial lamb coming up in 2 weeks. Clips has to literally get bodied clearly 3-0 if you guys want him off his high horse. At the battle yesterday after him and hollow battled. He grabs the mic talking about how he killed hollow. I wanna say 80% of the fans just soaked that up. You guys want to see clips lose?? Tell mook to kill him.
 
all this nonsense bout clipz legacy

hollow was always the top dog

it never changed hands

other battle rappers who aren't even close to hollows status were downplaying hollow

that's why hollow and John John had the fight to begin with

clipz started battling in the url after most of the venue issues were ironed out

hollow and the rest of the early adopters were battling at 1am and stuff like that

hollow already beat lux

it doesn't even matter if clipz beats him

lux will prolly have a whole other game plan and make that battle debatable anyway

clipz is a new fan favorite

he hides behind jokes to hide is lack of material and preparation

it's all good

Charlie did not win. Hollow beat him.

I'm a fan of both guys, but you gotta call a spade a spade.
 
Hollow should get Mook next.

But after Drake said Mook's gotta beat Surf to get to him, that probably won't happen.

Clips needs to clearly beat a strong opponent before he starts back up w/ the Lux talk.
 
Where was this Clips Hollow battle in Harlem?

How dudes can look at that battle and say Clips won is beyond me.

Hollow killed him that first round... clearly no debating... Clips lost the second round when he started going off about the other battlers :smh: and he got booed a lot too. How he won even from being at the venue in the house I don't know... could be home court advantage.

I'll give Clips the third round and that's barely edging it to do so too.

The same crap used to happen to Lux dudes would make up and all excuses for his overrated *** :smh:

Clips is good though and not saying he's overrated but I think because he battle so much his performances are lackluster to the point now that it's mundane.

This battle could have been a lot better have Clips came more correct, but he didn't bring his best and seemed like he treated this battle like it was just another under his belt, and although Hollow won this he seemed to be declining towards the end of the battle. He wasn't hitting as hard in the third round and he too seemed like he wasn't super serious about this battle like how he was with Lux.

When Hollow battled Lux he had something to prove and came out ready from the start to the finish whereas this battle he did enough to get the W, but not kill Clips decisively where there is no debating even though I think Hollow won no debating.

Hollow is that main dude right now in battle rap even though many don't want to admit it. I think him and Pat Stay should battle because they're both top dogs at each respective organization. Soul Kahn needs to come back that would also be another good battle with him against Pat or Hollow.

I agree with someone that said Serious Jones deserves to battle more top tier dudes he's very underrated.
