I don't understand why Tsu gets a shot a Mook..out of all cats..cause Drake said so?

Math and Mook would be way more entertaining\appealing imo

I have a feeling Rex is going to go off on Danny Myers....coming off a bad loss to Clips plus he hasn't battled since..he has somethin to prove. I don't want to see Myers on that stage anyway
 
Im a little biased as a Dot Mob fan but a couple things i took from the first 20 min of the phone call.


First Surf saying mook doesnt get views on URL is ********

Mook has 2 vids in the top 10 and another 1.4 mil with lux and just under a mil with Jae Millz. One could argue that wouldn't be in the top 5 if it wasn't for Con


Next they spoke about Nu Nu Nelz telling drake to face Surf first but that makes sense for URL because they get two battles out of mook if he wins and if drake never faces mook they got Mook when they other wise wouldnt.



Mook is also right that once he beats people they are immediately written off as not good. His resume at the time he was coming up was good for the time ( Jones, Lux, Millz, Party Arty battle was a classic to me) Iron soloman was good in the grind time stuff and he had a lot of fans.

Mook lost to Millz, I honestly don't see how any unbiased person believes that he won that battle. The reason why he became the SMACK poster boy after that was because Millz stopped battling and focused on music.

As far as him beating Lux the 2nd time, all he did was take the format that Hollow provided and run with it on a platform that's maintstream. I can't see him getting the same response at a URL/UW event taking that same route.

Everyone's critique of him is accurate, you battled 3 mogs in 7 years, you better have fire rounds all the way through when you have that much time to prepare. With that being said his rounds haven't even registered as fire.:smh:

Agree with everything you just said.

Mook BEEN overrated. Millz beat him for sure and I'll even go as far as to say that Jones took him too!

Only reason why it might seem like Mook won that one vs Jones was cause of all his D riding groupies he had like Rex hella gassing up lines like them parodies you see on youtube. "Oooooh he said Miss Jones....OOOOOOHHHHHHHHH!!! BARS!!" Them cheerleading dudes were hella annoying. "dot on your face, dot on your chest" That was corny as hell, especially when his crew was doing it too.

young cat going at established cats

all the younger cats always gravitated towards mook in all his battles

the older cats almost always went with mooks opponent

mook isn't the young cat anymore so it'll be interesting to see who the fans will side with

I'd assume they'll side with surf unless mook makes it an obvious 3-0
 
So I just watched Mook v Iron (well as much of it as I could take) and him vs Lux AGAIN.

I can't see him beating let alone 30ing Surf. Just don't see it, I'm sorry.
 
Mook has at least one clear loss dog. I don't know how you can keep running with this undefeated tag.


On cam Mook lost to Lux the first go round but since 2 rounds happened off cam and they Harlem dudes you'll never get a straight answer on that out of anybody.



But he clearly lost to Jae Millz.



I honestly feel Mook lost all his Smack DVD battles. Still a "battle rap great" if you wanna call him that along with a few others.
 
damn..I'm not a Mook fan like that but i never viewed him as overrated. Maybe i should go back and review his work. I know he got busy on the 2nd Lux battle though. I don't know how anyone could say he didn't
 
This mook slander is crazy. Half of these battle rappers are based off Mook. Mook fathered all of these dudes. He had punchlines ontop of punchlines with freestyles incorporated in his writtens. Mook would kill surf.

IMO surf doesn't even deserve mook.

You're drunk. What has Mook done that puts him on this untouchable pedestal?

Surf doesn't deserve Mook... Whose to say that Mook actually deserves a battle with Surf. What has he done recently to show he's worth that?

What does Mook gain from battling surf?

Battle rap fans can never keep it 100 with who wins or loses so Mook will lose in their eyes unless Surf messes up badly. And if he does then people will say Surf never was good enough in the first place.

Exactly!

And to keep it 100. There would be no surf if there wasn't a Mook. When smack stopped doing the battle rap DVDs grind time took over. While grindtime was pretty popular for what it was, there wasn't many smack caliber battle rappers rapping at the time. Mook had the schemes, he had he name flips, he did everything.

Off subject Mook beat lux twice.

The only people that deserve an actual shot at Mook RIGHT now is clips, hollow, math (for nostalgic purposes). Surf has had more chokes and debatable battles then 80% of the smack roster. He just sells himself so high so fans put him on this pedestal.
 
Surf is a top 3 battler out right now, top 2 IMO.

Mook is probably going to lose, and I'm the same guy who five posts above said that Mook is undefeated.
