Lets talk about battle rapping and crowd reactions. As battle rap gets bigger and bigger biased crowds are starting to have an impact on battles. A overhyped or bias crowd does two things. The first is make someone look better than they actually are and two suck all the energy from their opponent. JJDD had bars there is no debating that. But of course his swag was off because people in the crowd was talking when he was rapping, finishing his lines for him (they didn't do it to K Shine), and not giving reactions for some of his punchlines. Mean while K Shine swag was on a 100 because everything he said got positive reactions from the crowd immediately. We all judge battles differently but to me its bars over everything. If you don't have bars I don't care about your aggression or delivery. I felt the need to type his long winded reply because I am seeing crowds choose to many battles. I could go on and on about this but I will chill for now.

Heard JC v ILL was a classic. I was hoping for a 3-0 for JC but I knew that wasn't happening bc Ill is nice. Too bad I'll have to wait until April fools day to view it :smh:

I wouldnt have been surprised if JC 3-0'd him. When are they going to smarten up and start doing Live Streams man. I would pay like 10 an event for access easy

nope. Calicoe and Hanz(Maths homeboy) bout got into an altercation which got the whole event shut down is what I heard.

only battles that took place

JC vs Ill(alot of folks are saying 2-1 Ill)
Tsu Surf vs Conceited(happened at another venue, debatable or 2-1 Conceited is what I heard)
Math vs Dose (they say Math bodied Dose)

all the other battles will be "one offs" within the next 2-3 wks

smack need to let all the hypemen, gangsters, yes men that all these people come on stage with, pay for a ticket and let them be in the crowd....

You mean to tell me if i payed for this expecting 5-6 battles, and it gets relocated and since the change of venue u have to buy a next ticket to go to the next venue, then on top of that a fight happens and it goes to a next venue, and u dont get to see the entire card ....thats.messed up
 
3-0 Chilla Jones, that "Choke" was way overhyped by people, it had no bearing on how that battle went. Bodybag
 
Chilla does bring out the best in everybody. With that said I'm now a B-Magic fan. I feel like Chilla got 2 top 5 battles this year now.
