Does anyone know exactly how many pairs there were or how limited these were?  I researched and saw the numbers 500, 1000, or 3000.  Thanks.

PEOPLE UNDERESTIMATE THIS COLORWAY (THIS SHOE FOR THAT MATTER) SOOO MUCH! I FORGOT HOW SICK THIS COLORWAY IS AND HOW MUCH IT POPS UNTIL I OPENED THE BOXES BACK UP TO TAKE THE PICS! When the Heat come to town, and also when the sun comes out, these joints are coming out!

After seeing you guys post your heat, I had to come back and post a pic of my modest collection of the Lebron 1 (Air Zoom Generation) First Game.  I thought I was doing something with 2 pair

, but I see some of you guys have like 4 to 6 pair and more!  Lol!  Nice work, thanks for the contributions to my question and your posts. 
 
1000 pairs.

when they sold online on Nike.com, it had limited to 1000 pairs in the shoes description.

Zach12g, thanks for the info.  I'm now on the hunt for those Lebron 4's in your avy!  Lol!
 
Is it true that the version sold in Canada didn't get the card that comes with the version sold in the US? I know the shoes come with a card but I remember seeing something about Canada not getting the card.  Can anyone confirm this?

Fear the Mongolian Chop, I am not sure, but the two pair that I have, both came with the card.  I am from the US.

Yep- 3,000. After reading out this post I had to go down and check mine out. Found that I'm still sitting on 6 DS. I remember working like a dog to stock up and thinking that someday they would be a nice start to retirement. Yeah, not so much... They still look good though- a nice, well made shoe.
After the XI mess, I can't imagine what a release like this would be like today.
 
What's the market value on these?  I'm moving into a new place and I'm not sure I want to bother bringing all my shoes.  Might have to clear some out, and I figure I should start with shoes of players I hate.

Looking through this thread makes me wanna break out my Wheat ASGs. Not my favorite Bron shoe, but definitely a solid solid start to his sig line.
