Lianne La Havas: Sophmore Album "Blood" Releasing July 31st; It's Here!

I finally saw her at Webster Hall a couple nights ago. She sounds fantastic live; also engaged the crowd pretty well.

She looks just as gorgeous in person.

You should definitely see her live, if you have the chance.

There is just a whole lot of stuff going on in that Elusive video.

Like why is the Jamaican dude wearing 3 blazers at once? Why is that his "going out, bout to get all de gal dem" gear?

Literally, three blazers stolen from the set of New Jack City sewn side-by-side. Son looked like the bad guy in "Marked For Death" doin peroettes and ****. I kept thinking the spins were a diversion, and he was gonna pull an Uzi out and start spraying at Steven Seagal.

Like, the two dudes kissing didn't even blow my mind as much as the Jamaican dudes whole steez.
 


She performed this at Afropunk 2014, a new song "Ghost" off of her upcoming album. Sounds dope as hell.

I haven't heard any of her songs on the radio but I barely listen to the radio at the same time so I might not be the best reference here.
 
Anybody heard the new album yet? About to give this a spin later today....I have some high expectations.
 
Just to clarify, it seems as if only digital downloads and deliveries are available for now on our side of the pond. Best Buy is shipping out copies for order but I don't see store pick-ups available anywhere as of yet.
 
I love the album. More uptempo and R&B driven than the previous one but the old folk/soul fusion is still present on a few tracks. Lianne Bae is showing to be real versatile with her talent :pimp:
