Everybody Loves Chris is SO slept on.
Its a shame I didn't appreciate it more when it was on TV.
I haven't seen a show make me genuinely laugh as much as that one did.
It was definitely the best shows of the 00s.

Malcolm in the Middle fell off, like every show does, but when it was good, no other family sitcom was better written. Freaks and Geeks a close second, because it didn't make it as long.

It was a good show and pretty hilarious. I wouldn't say it's the best of though. IMO there were better shows still on. For example That 70's show and Friends.

The 2000s were pretty bad for family sitcoms.
Malcolm in the Middle is better than Everybody Hates Chris. Arrested Development is in another league imo, whole different category of funny.

@ People talkin about sitcoms that came out in the early 90s when it clearly says 00s.
And it says FAMILY.
So under those deadlines, I would say yes even though it was short-lived, especially the latter episodes. I would put Arrested Development in
front of them though because there was gut-busting laughter throughout every single episode.

Not the best but I enjoyed it. Too many shows out there from the old family shows like family matters, fresh prince, sister sister, boy meets world to the newer ones like my wife and kids and the George Lopez show.

The best famlly oriented sitcom of the 00s would fall to any number of Disney Channel shows.
The only non Disney show I paid attention to was Big Bang Theory. The rest are one hour shows like Lost.

We would watch it at work every day at 2pm on the CW. Never really watched it before that, but we found ourselves laughing every time.

In regards to my previous post, I should clarify that Everybody hates Chris was most definitely appreciated -as was My wife and kids, both were funny shows ...but Malcolm was my personal fave by far.
