Javon Walker wants out of Denver

Here in Denver a majority of the people on the news believe that the Darrent Williams situation is truly what this is about. I know Javon was hurt this seasonbut you have to remember that a guy died in his arms. I don't think that's something you get over.

It might be best for both sides to start fresh....Different sport, but remember Dany Heatley of the Thrashers got charged with vehicular homicide back inAtlanta. His best friend and teammate was in the car and died from injuries suffered in the crash. Heatley wasn't the same player or person for theThrashers after that accident. He asked to be traded because of the reminders each and every day as far as playing in the city where his friend died. He wasgranted his request, and was dealt to the Senators.

Anyways, If any of you all saw the Real Sports story on Walker/Williams, you can tell that Walker is still messed up in the head over what happened last year. His friend bled to death in his arms, and from what I saw, Walker never really came to grips or had closure on the situation. He is still paranoid aboutplaying in Denver, because for all that he knows the person who killed his boy is still out there on the streets. Not to mention that even if it was one personwho killed Williams, there are still people who would be out to get Walker. Like I said earlier, it would probably be best for both sides to start fresh.Walker is an immense talent, and when healthy he is one of the better WR's in the NFL. He did get aired out by Favre, and when GB's golden boy turnshis back to you, the whole city is against you as well. That was a lose-lose situation for Walker. Walker is still young, and has plenty of good years leftbefore he hangs up the cleats. I hope for the best with him, because he can still be productive.

Some one on ES made a post saying maybe Denver would be interested in this trade :

We get Javon Walker ...

Denver gets Brandon Lloyd....

keep dreaming my dude. thats not gonna hap. moss is staying put with the pats. he's well aware that if he remains in new england him and tommywill establish themselves as the most deadly combo ever as well as boost his g.o.a.t. status by winning super bowl after super bowl.

no, there is a very good chance that moss will not return to the pats next yr (remember, he signed a 1-year deal only because it was heavily laden withincentives), and if thats the case, i think javon would be a good fit. runs good routes, smart player, although he is extremely injury prone.

J Rain! If you would take a second to wipe off Moss' children from your eyes you would see there is a very good chance he will not be with the pats nextseason! Especially if they win the superbowl this year! Belichit has way to much pride and he wont give Moss the "cheese" unless its Fromunda cheese!I really dont believe moss will be down with taking such a HUGE pay cut! sorry to Rain on your parade, No pun intended!!

I would love to see him on the bears. our WR's drop everything that is thrown in their direction.

first of all, if moss for whatever reason he sees fit decides to take his abilities elsewhere it'll be to a team where the quarterback is not aquestion mark. he will go to a team that is already a contender with a pro bowl quarterback in hopes of once again being the ladder that propels them over thetop to the super bowl. i am starting to crazily think that leaving new england could actually upgrade moss' goat status. if for instance he went to thepackers, and they suddenly become unstoppable ala the pats this year and win the super bowl that will solidify moss as the greatest ever.

i think he will remain a pat. moss has matured, it's not all about the money for him anymore. it's about winning. he's stated that playing withthe pats is a dream come true, i am certain he's not going to want to wake up from that dream after one brief year. however, if he does flee new england ihope and pray it's to a team that is already legit and a bona fide contender.

As a Broncos fan I'm all for trading Javon as long as we get a DT or a draft pick to get a DT. Our D line needs help in the worst way.

oakland needs some receivers badly proter and curry can't do it by themselves we could use walker, chad, or any other star receiver on the team
