Maybe the kid is like that in real life and doesn't have to act much.
The stripper and the wife are gorgeous and even more gorgeous during that bathroom scene.  

What stripclub did they go into?  Was it a real one or fake name?

I'm excited about this show! Californication, I was already a proponent of...Shameless, I was wanting to get into but I missed the first season. Watched Sundays episode though so I will be getting into this as well. Another good Sunday of Cable comedy/drama's! I swear, Network Television is NOT for me. From HBO (Treme, How to make it in Amer, BWEmpire) to Showtime (Dexter, Califortnication, and the new shows) my TV life LIVES for Sunday's and cable TV series!!

Pilot was terrible. Any show that has to break the fourth wall in such an explicit manner is garbage. Black Hank Moody... GTFOOH.

I'll give it a few more eps but pilot was trash.

I can see why someone would say Black Hank Moody but I wouldn't go that far.

liked the first episode ... wasn't feeling the bet part in the second episode

that son/daughter thing ... funny at first but when son started singing in the grease play

In all honesty, I don't see how much this show can do...It seems like they'd have to continually reinvent themselves each episode.

There is very little linkage between episodes too. I feel like if you're going to be technical about a field, you have to stay technical. Don't dumb it down.
