A grade replica or B grade GR's???

from all the talk about jordan shoes being made either by unauthorized nike methods to authorized methods i noticed that these shoes being made come nearly identical to eachother.  when i say unauthorized methods i mean J's being made outside nike supervision as opposed to j's being made during normal bussiness hours.  it has come to a point where j's that were made illegally has equal if not greater quality than jordans that were made legally under the supervision of nike.  So i was just wondering what NT members thought in choosing a replica that was made without defects(ie glue stains, stitching, material issues, yellowing soles, etc.) or would you rather buy the same shoe at a legitimate bussiness such as niketown, footlocker, eastbay, etc and come up with an inferior made product.........?

If JB didnt produce such low quality products, we wouldnt have this issue. I for one, do not care if the shoes were made "after business hours". Same shoes, same defects. JB, step your game up!!!!

B-grades such as the ones at the outlets I'm A-OK buying. The way I see it, those are authentic and actually made in Nike factories by Nike workers with Nike materials and are no different than buying from Niketown. The flaws aren't even noticeable unless you got a Bat-computer inspecting it.

yup. i agree with you.  this is jb's problem and it doesnt matter to me where the shoes i purchase come from.  although being legitimately ethical jb also put this on themselves for the pay they actually give to the workers that manufacture the real mccoy's.  i figure if jb wont make an effort to correct the situation why should i bend over backwards to purchase a legitimate pair sacrificing my work time, rest, etc if all i have to do is purchase the same if not better quality shoe on line(pys, promo shoes, uptempo air, etc). where and how these websites get their product is not my concern.....

yeah.  the game has changed since i started back in 00'.  before all you needed to check for authenticity was the tag inside the shoe.  now you have ti actually have to inspect everything about the purchase, from the tissue, shoe horns, shade color of the material, number of stitching, the fattness of the jordan logo, crooked 23, insole padding thickness, etc.) then make a collective decision wither or not the purchase came from a legitimate location... crazy

This thread is omg why are we even discussing this. There fake there fake. They can use material off of tinkers desk himself but if there not authorized then I'm out. Sick where this has gotten to.

it only matters to re-sellers.

if you're like me and just wear them, quality is quality.

Well if you're not sure about the authenticity of the shoes..simply just stop buying from those specific sites and purchase from your local retail store... Is it that difficult to figure out??

I thought PYS was 100% and not in the same "category" as promo-shoes and etc. Promo-shoes has been labeled as an unauthorized retailer from what I recall. Or am I mistaken? Either way there's always gonna be people that don't care if the shoes are made illegitimately (unauthorized) as long as the materials are the same and the quality is the same, more or less, and there will be people who won't even look at a site selling shoes that aren't authorized Nike/JB retailers.

i'm buy b grades

its all made with cheap crap anyway
HELL I'LL EVEN WEAR A GRADE REPLICA'S FOR THE PRICE I GOT MY RAY ALLAN'S FOR IN THE END

I for one will only purchase and wear shoes that are straight from NikeTown,FTL,FL etc. I RARELY buy from my local CL but when I do I at least check the shoes to make sure it's not an early release pair. I'll sit there in look at the shoes for 30 minutes if I have to. If I'm buying from eBay and if they don't have the pictures I need/want then I will request for them (tagged of course) and if they don't provide it...then they don't get my money regardless how low it's going for and would do the same here at the buy/sell forums. It's to scary to buy anywhere other than the retail stores anymore so I'll take my time and make sure I'm 100% confident that the shoe I'm buying came from a major retail store and not some early release unauthorized pair. Most people say that it doesn't matter as long as it looks and feels legit and made with the same material but I can never rock kicks that I'm not sure if it is real or not. That's just me thou!

THANK YOU!!!
Cats are really finding an excuse to make it seem ok to wear fakes, nah ill pass

the question is the quality. there are manufacture defects in authentic verified j's. i'm guessing there are those that would rather have b grade shoes with smooth leather, obeast one arm jumpman, preyellowed soles, rather than something that has A grade premium quality with zero flaws exept that was put together after hours and the stamp that was supposed to be put on the inside of the box was missing......

I try to avoid this topic, but it really grinds my gears that some people would agree that it's okay to buy from these early release sites; as long as the pair looks exactly the same as the the pair sold in an authorized retailer. If you're down on dropping over retail, and poorer quality shoes, then that's up to YOU! YOU'VE ALL BEEN WARNED! And no, don't even say these new retroes are poor quality than it's OG counterparts, we already know that fact. Truth, these unauthorized pairs are a stoop lower in quality to the authorized version. [The sneakerfiles comparison vid determined that.] I know there is a few, if not many, of you who have bought pairs from these early release sites. You dont want to admit the pair you bought is possibly fake, but deep down you are possibly questioning if they are authentic.
For example, take a look at VMVinc site. Why would he have a restock on 2009 true blue IIIs? Cmon now, the shoe re-retroed last year! How on earth would there be a random restock of 2009 trueblues? Unless there was a forgotten supply of 09 true blues. Now take a look at shoes in the front of the website. Why would there be back-orders? Are there pairs being freshly made? These stores are making their own releases and possibly their own supply.
We can argue days about this, but just do yourself and community a favor: buy the shoe from your local retailers, it stops the countless arguments, questioning of fakes, and threads like these.

I'm pretty sure that these 'real fakes' is mostly a myth that the fakers put out there to think that you're buying genuine product - when they're making them out of crap somewhere else.

Sure, there are some 3rd shift shoes produced - but I don't think it's nearly enough for all the ones you hear about.

its not ok at all.
it wasn't ok back when %!%#%% would be like, "yo...i know someone that'll get me those jordans for like 40 dollars" and its not ok now with sites charging 300 dollars for fakes. FOH.

SDS doesn't even exist anymore... haha Unless its Nike.com, Eastbay/Footlocker.com, Finishline.com I'm not messing with it.

Hopefully into good use like 3rd World Countries, or shredder for real shoes. I'll take either one.
